When will the registrations of TNEA for other state students begin and how to apply?

Hello dear,

The registration of TNEA for other state students will commence tentatively from the third week of june and the last date of registration will be in the first week of july. And the registration fees for general students is 250 and for SC/ST is 250.

As the date is not finalised yet so keep visiting on official website for furher updates.

I think yes, you will be eligible for appearing in the counselling process and with such good marks, you will be able to get Anna University without any problems. It depends upon which course you have go take and how many students appeared for the exam and how many seats are available.

To get a seat in the Anna university, you have to apply for TNEA counseling first. And for that, rather than the total scores, cut off's only matter the most. So, first Bring Your cut scores to 200 in maths, chemistry and physics. Make it like this (maths) +(physics / 2) + ( chemistry / 2) ,so that it comes for 200. Since you belong to the general category, a cut off score of something which is not less than 195 would be required to fetch one a seat there. Also, there are certain eligibility criteria for the non resident candidates of Tamilnadu which one must adhere to. Yes, you can get a seat through the counseling. If you are exactly enquiring about the Anna university, College of engineering, Guindy campus, then yes, you have chances of procuring a seat there. But courses like CSE or ECE seems impossible as they are the most opted ones among the candidates and require a cut off above 190. But you have good chances of getting printing technology there. Also, one fact is that, With a cut off difference of 0.25, you will be pushed behind a lot of candidates, which makes your chances a little lower. Scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, by which nothing can be predicted for sure. I am from andhra Pradesh I want to join in Anna university what is process for admission

Firstly, you will have to satisfy the eligibility criteria i.e you should score the mentioned percentage. If you satisfy, you will have to apply for TNEA examination. Attempt it and score adequately. Apply for the counselling online and choose the colleges you want to get into. after analysis, you will be placed in the college you deserve depending on your score.
