Hello student,
If you are enquiring about Anna University, College of engineering, Guindy campus, then you cannot get a seat there with a cut off of 136.5 even in the mbc category. But, there are around 550 colleges that participate in TNEA counseling and are affiliated to Anna university where you can get a seat. But, With 136.5, no top colleges of best ones would suit you for CSE or IT. You may get a seat only in the low ranked colleges and even there, where placements and faculty cannot be guaranteed with.
Good luck

Hi Bhagyasri,

I am here to help you with your question. As you belong to other state(non-Tamilnadu) you can apply through management quota if you didn't write TNEA. You got 9.9 GPA that means 99%. Your marks are calculated for 200 by considering 100% marks from maths and 50% from chemistry and 50% from physics. Anyway even though your system is GPA but you will be given GPA for every subject.

For eg: if you got 10 in maths and 9.5 in both chemistry and physics then it means you got 100 out of 100 in maths and 95 out of 100 in both chemistry and physics that means based on above % consideration you will get 195 out of 200

In this way, marks are calculated. So it doesn't matter whether it is marks or GPA.

If you feel anything wrong in my answer feel free to comment.

All the best.

Thank you.

Hello,

Yes, The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Thanku.

Hey Jaswanth. There will not be anything to worry. During the Certificate Verification, you can get the aadhar number changed when you visit the facilitation center. The authorities will automatically consult you when they find a wrong aadhar number in your counselling form. Hope this helps. All the best.

Hello student,
You have not mentioned which category you belong to. With a cut off score of 176 for 200 in the hsc examination, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the above mentioned colleges - Anna University, College of engineering , Guindy or MIT or San or PSG college of technology. All these are the top five colleges affiliated under Anna University and ECE is the most opted branch among candidates after CSE. So, keeping in mind the cut off's and ranks of past years and the heavy competition for these two branches, the final answer is no. However you can go through the following link to know about the cut off's and ranks for the previous years and calculate your chances of selection through TNEA

Hello student,
Coming from the BCM category, a cut off score of 188.5 will not be suffering to secure a seat in the Anna university, College of engineering, Guindy when comparing the results of previous years. That too, when it comes to CSE, the scores are usually high there. So, you can better try other colleges of choose other branches in Anna University itself. Hello student,
With a cut off score of 188.5 in the mbc category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the Anna university - college of engineering, Guindy campus when comparing the results of previous years. To procure a seat in CSE branch there, one should have a cut off score of something which is not less than 192 to remain in the safe zone. But you have possibilities of getting Textile technologies there. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, by which nothing can be predicted for sure. Hello student  ,
With a cut off score of 175 for 200, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the PSG college of technology or in the ssn college of technology, in the oc category when comparing the results of previous years. Since CSE is the most opted branch among candidates, the cut off's usually soar up every year. For CSE in these colleges, a minimum cut off of something which is not less than 190 would be a safe zone. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, by which nothing can be predicted for sure as trends change every year. Hello student,
Despite belonging to BCM,  you cannot procure a seat in the Anna in - college of engineering, Guindy, in any course. It is the top ranked college and requires a cut off score of something which is not less than 195 to remain in the safe zone. Even if the cut off's were to decrease this year, you don't have a chance. The least opted courses like chemical engineering, mining engineering requires a cut off of 190 and above. But, there are other colleges affiliated to Anna university, in which you have good chances of getting selected.
Good luck
