The admission to Anna university is done by TNEA counselling only. The admission to UG programmes is purely based on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary examinations (10+2 marks). The higher secondary marks are scaled to 200, based on which the merit list/ ranks are released. Counseling is conducted based upon the ranking.

So, you just need to apply for the ANNA University admissions 2021-22 and then a list will be released containing ranks of students according to the merit criteria. According to the ranks, candidates will be allotted seats. To know more, visit here:

The Eligibility criteria for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) are.

1. Higher Secondary Certificate Examination From recognised board of TN.
2. Academics subjects like  Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry is mandate
3. Minimum percentage required for qualifying in TNEA is General - 45%, SC/SCA/ST - 40%,  BC/Muslim - 40%,

As you already secured 88.4 percentage you eligible for TNEA proces. You can easily get admission as you belong to Pondicherry, based on TNEA merit scores. ANNA University admission are also done based on TANCET ( Tamil Nadu  Common entrance exam) as well. You can edit/modify the details in TNEA application form before submitting the application. So if you provided any incorrect information then you can modify the details by logging in the candidate portal on or before the last date of application and submit the application. After submitting the application you cannot make any changes in the application. Also correction facility is not provided for TNEA application. You need to fill the application with utmost care.

The most basic eligibility criteria for getting admission in Anna University B tech in specialisation of Computer Science and engineering is to complete 50% marks in aggregate with physics Chemistry Maths as compulsory subjects. However for selection to B tech course the students have to clear TNEA entrance exam.

Dear candidate, not every class’s certificate is important for the future. However, class 10th and 12th certificates must be kept safely for future use. If your 10th and 12th certificate is lost then, follow these steps: (All boards maybe having different rules, but basic criteria is same)

• File an FIR in the nearest police station.
• Fill an application form, given on the council's website.
• Fill the application form carefully.
• An Affidavit on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.10 should be filed.
• Prepare a demand draft for the requisite amount.
• Attach identification certificate of a gazetted officer or principal.
• Attach the new paper declaration/press release.
• Send it to the CBSE regional office with all attachments(Address is given on council’s website).

There are only a few seats for Andhra Pradesh students in Anna University. Since you are talking about Andhra Pradesh candidates, so the candidate will be considered under other states quota. Under the other state quota, there are 40 seats for general category students and 10 seats for SC/ST to get admission into BE/BTech. While for BArch there are 2 seats under other state quota.
