With a cut off of 148 in the higher secondary exam,it becomes difficult to secure a seat for chemical engineering in Anna university. However you can apply for TNEA counselling and try other colleges.

As per recent cut offs of Anna University, the opening rank of Industrial engineering is 171 marks. You might be placed in Industrial Engineering if you attend all the phases of counselling. The opening rank of Civil engineering and Manufacturing engineering is 179 and 176 marks respectively. There might be a fluctuation in the cut offs and if you are fortunate enough and the cut offs go down, you'd be securing a seat.

With a cut off mark of 161.5 in Higher secondary examination ,it becomes diffficult to secure a seat in the Anna University, when comparing the results of the previous years. However you can apply for the TNEA counselling and try for other colleges.
