SSN engineering college is one of the top colleges in Tamil Nadu affiliated to Anna University. To get admission you need to appear for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission(TNEA) counseling. Admission for 2020 has not been started it, most probably it will start in the month of August. You need to register yourself in TNEA counseling. Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) was to start the registration for TNEA Counselling from first week of May 2020. But due to outbreak of Covid 19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown, the application hasn't yet released. Commencement of Certificate Verification at all other TFC's was scheduled on First two weeks of June 2020. But hope, the application will be released soon in online mode, just keep checking the official website.

Dear Aspirant, yes your NATA score is compulsory for admission here.

The candidates must clear NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) to be eligible for the B. Arch admission process. The candidates must have at least 80 out of 200 marks in NATA to be considered for the B. Arch admission process of Anna University.

Admission into AU Btech is done merit based. If you have good qualifications then you can get an admission.

Apply for AU when application form will be available.  There is no cutoff.

TNEA is entrance exam which is accepted for admission so you can also apply if you want to go for other engineering college.

TNEA is not an exam it is a counseling authority like JOSSA , CSAB and JAC . But the difference is in those 3 admission is based on JEE Mains and JEE Advance but for TNEA Counseling merit list is prepared based on your 12th performance .

Yes , TNEA is necessary to get into Anna University .

But one thing I would like to add registration form is delayed and  dates mentioned in the article is not updated it will be updated when new notifications from TNEA will be released .  So , you should check about TNEA regularly on Google to know about registration process beginning .

Admission to AU is done merit based.  candidates who have good merit holds high chance to get an admission.

TNEA is the state exam for admission into engineering branch in different college/institutes.  for previous year,  TNEA cutoff for CSE branch was 152.25-195. Some colleges also accepts JEE mains. for jee mains, if you have rank below 50k then there is high chance to get an admission.

To get placed in good college or top university like anna university, you need to get qualified for the state  entrance exam. Like to get seat in Anna university for lateral entry, you need to pass for the appropriate exam being conducted by state government like TNEA( tamilnadu engineering admission.)

You need to  get the cutoff marks for the exam. This cutoff marks will get changes every year by considering last year cutoff, number of students attended the exam etc.

Anna university is having different cutoff marks for different branches. The official cutoff marks for 2020 will be available in first week of june.

Atleast cutoff you should get is 150 and above marks in TNEA exams.

.cutoff for civil last year for anna university is 147 opening marks and 194 closings marks( last year cutoff).
