Hello Bhavitra

As the news has prevailed that IIT's and NIT's are going to stop the stipend and also increased the per annum fees by 900% there is really a hustle and bustle situation.

But as far as i know, colleges and universities under AICTE has not announced anything yet.

So you will get 12400 as of now. (Not sure about the future) it may change.

Hey!There
For getting goverment jobs, you have to appear entrance EXAMINATION..As no goverment companies used to visit Campus for recruitment..You have to appear in their entrance EXAMINATION..There are lot of private companies used to hire Graduate like Nestle India,AMUL DAIRY etc..
Ask if any query..
GOOD LUCK!

To be very honest, refund and your certificates will not be given. You might have to shell out the entire fee for the duration of the course. This is because the College is losing out on a potential Candidate for the entire duration of the course. The Institution would rather have a Student who would complete the course with them. This will have to be negotiated with the Administration.

Hello

Yes, you can get a scholarship

In Anna university there are two categories of programs one is regular and another one is self support (SS). If you belong to SS category you can't get the regular government scholarship.

But you can apply for other scholarships like central sector scholarship, chief minister scholarship etc. But you can have only one scholarship through out your program period. For government scholarships no interview, based on the eligibility criteria you will get the scholarship.

If you are belong to SC/ST category you can apply seperately for SC/ST scholarships. You can get full tuition fee waiver and if you stay inside the campus, you will get seperate scholarship for hostel and mess too. SC/ST scholarship is available for both regular and self support (SS) students.

If you want to know the complete details about the scholarship you can contact the Dean office directly.

thankyou, i hope it helps, feel free to approach for further queries.

Hi,

I don't think as far as I have searched that VIT comes under MCA counselling in Anna University.

This is because Anna University is a public state university whereas VIT is a private university and both conduct their own separate counselling.

Hello Aspirant,

Both the colleges you have mentioned are amongst the best colleges in Tamil Nadu. As you have mentioned that you belong to general category, you should have a minimum of 95% and above to make it into these colleges. You should also clear state level competitive examination with minimum marks as these are government institutes.

Good luck! Will be happy to help you with any other doubts.
