The last date of application is 22nd July 2019 so apply by now

The difference between the autonomous and affiliated colleges is that in autonomous college they can set their own syllabus and correction will be done in college itself. But question paper will be prepared by Anna University. You will recieve Anna University certificate at the end of degree in both the cases. Many people feel affiliated colleges are the good option to opt for but you can experience more new things in autonomous college. If college permits you can do a particular semester abroad as well in student exchange program if your college is autonomous.

Choose which one you feel good based in inputs given above.

If you fall in general category then the cut off score required for University Departments of Anna University is somewhere near 64 and that of PSG Institute of Management and PSG college of Technology is respectively 35 and 61.

But if you fall in reserved category then for Anna University it ranges from 58 to 40 and for PSG College of Technology it ranges from 56 to 35. But for PSG Institute of Management it's very low i.e. around 30.

Hello Guru Preet, Provisional certificates are issued to students who are about to complete their course in a certain institute within a very short span. It is just a temporary document that is provided than can be used for admissions to institutes or jobs at higher levels since most of these processes start before the actual completion of the prior degree. Anna University would provide provisional to students of the affiliated college on request but only just prior to completion of their degree. you will howve need to show your actual degree certificate once you receive it to the college you will be joining for higher studies.

KRCE - K Ramakrishnan College of Engineering Tiruchirappalli is a better option.

In KREC, about 4 or 5 top companies visit for placements, and many BPO companies recruit most of the students. TCS, Wipro, Zoho are the important companies for the college. There are many coding contests used for recruitment. So, KREC has good placement system.

The infrastructure of KRCE is a good one. It has four departments. The CSE, mechanical, ECE, and EEE are the departments of KRCE. There is a great library. The sub-block contains vegetarian and non-vegetarian canteen. The hostels are there for boys and girls separately. Only, some Wi-Fi modems are used.

The faculty members of KRCE do not work for their salary, but they give their best. In every week, there is a unit test for the students. When the student gets below 40 marks, then they are trained to get more than 40 marks.

You may not get a seat in mechanical engineering in anna University through gate by this score. If your score is good enough I. Tancet then you can get mechanical engineering. Anna University accepts both gate and tancet marks. 

Selection is done on the basis of any one of the following:

• Candidates having a valid TANCET Score are selected for admission to M. Tech/M.E.
• Candidates who are GATE qualified can participate directly in the counseling session.
