Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test ( BITSA) is basically a Computer based online test for Admissions to Integrated Degree Programs of Birla Institute of Technology and Science ( BITS) Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. All the students who are appearing or passed 10+2 in science stream are eligible for the entrance examination.

BITS Hydrabad is the one that you got an admission, it’s a wonderful campus with all its well-equipped college Infrastructure.

BITS hydrabad has all modern labs and equipment. All the classrooms are fully air conditioned. You will have a separate library building, fully AC, and a huge collection of resources. All sports facilities are like tennis, football, basketball, badminton, swimming pool etc. Hostels are neat and clean with WiFi. The entire campus is well maintained and extremely clean. Hygiene protocols are followed everywhere.

Academics

The curriculum is extremely well thought out and updated to recent industrial standards as well. BITS Hydrabad is definitely a tier 1 college in terms of the level of academics no doubt in that.

To be eligible for admission in BITS Pilani under the 'Direct admission to Board toppers' scheme, the candidate should be the topper from the science stream having taken Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects in 12th. To identify the topper, the following criteria will be adopted.

Since you got 91.5 percent, which is a very good percentage, you will not be deemed as topper due to the missing 8.5% and there are students with percentage higher than yours. Therefore, if you wish to get admission in BITS Pilani then it will be through BITSAT.

As you have mentioned that you have received 1.8L in JEE mains and taking into consideration that you belong to obc category so let me tell the cut off is a bit higher for bit mesra .

Various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

The authorities are yet to announce the cutoff for BITSAT 2021. (BITS) Pilani will release the BITSAT 2021 cutoff after the completion of all rounds of BITSAT counselling and will depend on factors like

Well Placements in VIT is very good especially for CSE branch. To compare, it would be in par with older NITs for CSE Branch. If we compare with BITs then it is lower than that. And Yes, VIT has better placements than IIITs and Newer NITs. If you take private University, then only BITS has better placements record than VIT.
