As you mentioned you are a ward of Defence Personnel, First of all, Congratulations for all your achievements. You have really attempted well all the Exams.
You are asking for the seat in IITs, NITs, etc., You are not  going to get it through defense quota because there is no provision of defence quota in NITs. Some IIITs and Universities are there, which accept it like Punjab University, IIIT Delhi etc.
You will be given preference a lot as you have scored well in all the Exams and in BITS, you can get easily with that marks.
In IITs, cut offs varies so might you don't get good branches but still you can apply for JoSAA Counselling and JAC Counselling too.

Well every year the cutoffs change but I will give you an idea on what the cutoff might be based on the previous year cutoffs.

For OBC you need to score around 380 in BITSAT for courses like CSE. For courses like Manufacturing and CIvil you can get a seat with even 250 in BITSAT.

Congratulations on your score! I believe you will make it to confirmed list at either of BITS Hyderabad or Goa in Msc Chemistry or Physics by the next iteration. BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus cutoffs usually show a difference in the last iteration, I think it will be worth waiting. Usually Msc Physics and Chemistry cutoffs close somewhere between 250-275 and you have fair chances. All the Best.

Dual Degree from IIT Dhanbad is better than BITS Pilani. Because IIT Dhanbad provide better faculty than BITS Pilani. IIT Dhanbad placement is good that BITS Pilani. For BITs which is ranked 30, with a score of 305 it is difficult to get into  CSE and ECE, you might get stream like Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

For NITs, with a rank of 18827, there are less chances of getting a seat in CSE.
