Hello reader,

The eligibility criteria for students taking admission in BITS for btech engineering states that  1) Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (if applying for B.E.)  2) they should have secured at least 60% marks in each of these subjects individually. Moreover the 295 marks you scored in bitsat session 1, should satisfy the cut-off rank and percentile of the branch of engineering which you wish to pursue in BITS as per BITS cut-off list. Hello Aspirant

Seeing your marks in XAT, you are eligible to apply for BITS Pilani. But an MBA is not all about your competitive exam results, but also your overall performance in your academic life. You have performed really well in your academic endeavors, securing way above average than others and there's a good chance that you will hear back from them. The last thread is your performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. I hope you get selected and do really well. All the best

BITS India offers direct admission to NRI students through the International Student Admissions (ISA) program rather than the DASA quota, which is primarily for NRI admissions to other engineering colleges in India. For a more personalized and comprehensive guidance, you may consider consulting Invicta Career Consultancy, as they specialize in assisting students with admissions processes and can provide detailed information and support tailored to your son's specific situation, While there are other options available, hence you can pay a visit to their website (icclearning.com) and get consult with them for better guidance. All the best to you.

Hii sir, selection between IT( information technology) from maharaja agrasen Institute or mechanical engineering from BITS hyderabad depends upon the goals and interests of your son. I can give you a description about both

1. BITS HYDERABAD: it is a top tier institution with high placement records and strong industry connection. Mechanical engineering offers good prospect in industries like manufacturing, robotics etc. Higher chances of Internship, research and networking.

2. Maharaja agrasen Institute:  it have a decent reputation but it's placement records may not match BITS hyderabad.  It gives you local opportunities so if you are looking to work in the local tech it might help.

In my opinion BITS could be a better option. But you should take decision based on other factors like distance , personal preferences, faculty etc.

Hello,

What a great dilemma to have!

Both options are excellent, but it ultimately depends on your son's interests, career goals, and priorities. Here's a brief comparison:

USICT (CSE or IT):

· Strong industry connections and placements

· Located in Delhi, with access to a hub of tech companies

· CSE and IT are in-demand fields with good job prospects

BITS (Mechanical):

· Renowned institution with a strong reputation

· Interdisciplinary approach, combining mechanical with other fields

· Opportunities for research and innovation

Hope this helps,

Thank you

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the MBA students at BITS Pilani is well-organized and up-to-date. Classrooms are spacious, with projectors and audio-visual systems installed, enhancing lectures. The campus Wi-Fi is satisfactory, though speed reduces slightly in times of high usage. Seminar halls, case study rooms, and group discussion rooms are available for management students.

Overall my experience so far has been nice.

College Infrastructure

Nice infrastructure, AC class rooms, clean washrooms, well-maintained campus, pretty flowers everywher, pretty pretty snake path and last but not the least, how can I forget our iconic clock tower haha!!
