Hello,

What a great dilemma to have!

Both options are excellent, but it ultimately depends on your son's interests, career goals, and priorities. Here's a brief comparison:

USICT (CSE or IT):

· Strong industry connections and placements

· Located in Delhi, with access to a hub of tech companies

· CSE and IT are in-demand fields with good job prospects

BITS (Mechanical):

· Renowned institution with a strong reputation

· Interdisciplinary approach, combining mechanical with other fields

· Opportunities for research and innovation

Hope this helps,

Thank you

No, an NWAC (National Wisdom & Accreditation Council) Class 12 certificate is not valid for B.Tech admission in BITS Pilani.

BITS Pilani requires candidates to appear for their own entrance exam, BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test), for B.Tech admissions.
BITS Pilani typically accepts Class 12 certificates from recognized national boards like CBSE or ISCE, or state boards affiliated with these national boards.

NWAC is not a recognized national board for Class 12 education in India. Universities like BITS Pilani rely on established boards with standardized curriculum and evaluation processes.

Hello aspirant,

BTech is an acronym for Bachelor of Technology, whereas BE is an acronym for Bachelor of Engineering. The two degrees are interchangeable. While most institutions overseas offer BE degrees, the majority of Indian institutes offer BTech degrees.

It is believed that BE is more of a theoretical approach, whereas BTech is more of a practical one. This is the only slight distinction.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

Correct Answer: Partly

Solution : The correct choice is the second option.

Partially means something that is not complete. Partly means something that is completed to some degree but not completely, making it the appropriate synonym for "partially".

The meanings of the other options are as follows:

  • Supportively means how something is done in a constructive manner or beneficial to someone.
  • Frankly means openly and directly.
  • Completely means totally.

Correct Answer: Detritus

Solution : The correct choice is the first option.

Debris means the remains of something that is broken or destroyed. Detritus means waste material left, especially after a particular event, making it a synonym for "debris".

The meanings of the other options are as follows:

  • Rays mean lines of light.
  • Specks are tiny dots.
  • Liquid is a substance that flows freely.

Correct Answer: Witnessed

Solution : The correct choice is the first option.

Spotted means to see or notice someone or something. Witnessed is the past form of "witness", which means to see something while it is happening, making it a synonym for "spotted".

The meanings of the other options are as follows:

  • Speckled means covered with a large number of small spots.
  • Splotchy is something that is marked with spots.
  • Placed means to be in a particular position.

Therefore, the right answer is witnessed.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the MBA students at BITS Pilani is well-organized and up-to-date. Classrooms are spacious, with projectors and audio-visual systems installed, enhancing lectures. The campus Wi-Fi is satisfactory, though speed reduces slightly in times of high usage. Seminar halls, case study rooms, and group discussion rooms are available for management students.

Overall my experience so far has been nice.

College Infrastructure

Nice infrastructure, AC class rooms, clean washrooms, well-maintained campus, pretty flowers everywher, pretty pretty snake path and last but not the least, how can I forget our iconic clock tower haha!!
