Hi,

Unfortunately, students who live in Delhi cannot get the benefit of hostel as the preference is given to students living outside Delhi. The preference order is following:-

1. Given to students outside Delhi

2. Given to students who live 50 km+

3. Given to students who live 35 km+

You can try living in a PG outside the campus.

All the best!

Hey,

By observing pervious year trends you definitely have chances in both DTU and NSUT.

In DTU these are the branches you can apply for:

  • Biotechnology
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Engineering Physics
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineer
  • Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Automotive Engineering

To know more about DTU, check the following link - https://dqxeclau.top/university/delhi-technological-university-delhi

In NSUT these are the branches you can apply for:

  • Biotechnology
  • Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

To know more about NSUT, check the following link - https://dqxeclau.top/university/netaji-subhas-university-of-technology-new-delhi

Hope this helps you.

Dear Parent,

You haven’t mentioned specific NIT so I will try to cover the best one vs DTU.

Here you go,

NIT Warangal > NIT Trichy > DTU > NIT Suratkal > NIT Allahabad > NSIT

DTU might have been at the top, but its 85% reservation for students from Delhi prevented it. I'm talking about a tiny portion of India, only 15%, and 85% of Delhi.

While in Trichy, there is a 50/50 chance of that happening.

- Pick NIT Trichy, CSE without a second thought if placements are your only concern.

* In many ways, it is far superior to many IITs. The research facilities and lecturers offered there are comparable to those of any university in the nation.

* The placements are excellent, and some of the greatest businesses from around the globe come in to hire.
* You can participate in extracurricular activities like Vortex.

* You may also access their department's newsletter through their website to learn more about what they've been up to. If you put in the work, any CSE department—regardless of location—has an advantage over the competition.

*NIT Trichy is one of the best Institutes in the country if you want to major in CSE in engineering.

More about NIT T - https://www.google.com/amp/s/dqxeclau.top/university/national-institute-of-technology-tiruchirappalli/amp

Now Let’s see the pros and cons of DTU-

Pros: 1. Excellent brand recognition and industrial exposure.

2. Advantage if you are not a CSE major with a burning desire to pursue an MBA after graduation.

3. IIT-D or IIIT-D have excellent coding cultures and options for research projects.

4. Excellent positioning (This one does not merit a second opinion.)

Cons -

1. Average professors and school-sponsored research projects.

2. The CSE batch's large student body increases competition.
More about DTU -

https://www.google.com/amp/s/dqxeclau.top/university/delhi-technological-university-delhi/amp

So if you managed to get into NIT T then you should definitely go for it. It’ll be close to your home, plus the heat will not bother you much. But if you get into DTU I must say you’ll get into a lot of exposures of cultural and industrial experiences. You’ll get into a complete different life style being from south to north which will also develop your social profile. So I would recommend you to choose according to your interest as both of them are really good institutions than any IIITs.
Hope this helps.

Hello,

A gap certificate, also known as a gap affidavit, is a self-declared certificate made on non-judicial stamp paper. It justifies the sudden short-term or long-term breaks you’ve taken during your academic course. For your gap certificate you can go to a lawyer and ask for issuing a Gap certificate. They have a prearranged format of Gap certificate.

It requires the following informations:

  • Full name, as stated in official documentation
  • Age, as per passport details
  • Residential address
  • Most recent educational qualification
  • Name of the institution from where student received the qualification
  • Duration of the gap
  • Reason for the gap
  • Name of school/university/institution where the candidate is seeking admission
  • Date of application
  • Signature of the candidate
  • Signature of the advocate.

Documents required for GAP certificate-

  • Candidate name
  • Guardian name
  • Address
  • Tenure of the gap
  • Reasons for the Gap certificate
  • Declaration of the authenticity of the documents submitted
  • Highest educational qualification

Hello,

DTU is a much better option than NIT, Silchar. This is due to a number of reasons. NSIT offers better quality education and oustanding placement opportunities. DTU also has much better infrastructure and facilities. Most of the learning actually happens outside the classrooms . There is no one stopping you to take programming if you are good enough

DTU CSE is surely better than NIT Silchar. DTU is one of the prestigious University in India. Overall, it is a choice that will be worth it.

60% marks in 10+2 in 10+2 marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with English as one of the main subjects from a recognized board. here are some Key Points you have to note if you are from OBC category :

1. 5% marks in eligibility criteria is relaxed for OBC Students.

Hello,

To be honest in this rank Delhi Technological University is not possible to fetch because the cut offs are way higher. However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Instead you should go for comedk colleges , wbjee colleges where you chances will be higher as they are comparatively easier exams as compared to jee mains.

You can easily get cse branch there in colleges like BIT Bangalore, CMR institute of technology.

Greetings!

Yes sir/ mam, you will be allowed for JAC Delhi counseling, there is no criteria of 5th subject whatsoever for admission or counseling through JAC.

The only major criteria is that you must have had PCM in 12th and then each college sets it's separate criteria of minimum percentage that you can check on their official website

You can use following tool to get information on which colleges you can get.

Hello,

The admission in DTU is based on the CRL rank secured in JEE Main. JAC will conduct the counselling for admission in NSUT, DTU, IIIT, Delhi and  IGDTUW. Last year a candidate with rank (CRL) 21668 belonging to EWS category (Delhi Region) secured seat in Delhi Technological University in Computer Engineering in round 4 of JAC counselling. Considering the cut off you do not have chances to get seat in DTU in Computer Engineering. However, you have chances to get seat in the following courses in DTU

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Production & Industrial Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Bio-Technology

Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
