hello aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category, i am considering you as a general category student. Now, according to the previous year JEE mains Cutoff and with the above mentioned rank in JEE mains, you have very difficult chances of getting Mechanical Engineering branch or other branches, even with the Home stet Quota, in DTU as the closing and the last rank in DTU for lowest branch is around 50K-70K, according to the 2021 cutoff.

Further to know the Cutoff for DTU, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it : https://dqxeclau.top/university/delhi-technological-university-delhi/cut-off

To know about your chances of admissions in other colleges, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp

I hope that this will help.

Dear Aspirant,

It is quite difficult to predict the exact situation as it varies every year based on the number of students attempting the exam, the preferences of the students etc.

Looking at the previous year trends we can say that the category cutoff for getting least preferred branch in NSUT has been around 5.5 K and DTU has been around 6 K.

Hence it is really difficult to get into these colleges with your rank.

In my options, please look for private colleges that accept other modes of admission like board exam or other entrance examinations. It might be quite difficult to get into any college with just your JEE results.

Yet, to see what all possibilities you have, please check the college predictor link below.

Hope this helps.

Dear aspirant,

The cutoff details vary every year based on the number of students attempting the exam, the preferences of the students and the number of students willing to take admission in the courses.

Generally for outside Delhi region the cutoffs are pretty high. CSE and related branches are the most competitive ones and it is really easy to get branches like Biotechnology, environmental engineering etc.

CSE - 2.5 K it is the most preferred branch

IT and software - around 4.5 K

Most preferred core branches like ECE, Electrical 10 K

Least preferred core branches like Chemical, Biotechnology, Civil, Production , Environmental engineering the ranks are between 20 K - 40 K.

This is a the general trend based on the previous year cutoff trends.

Please check the link below for more details.

Dear aspirant,

It is quite hard to predict the exact admission situation as it depends on the number of students attempting the exam and the preferences of the students etc.

I am assuming you belong to the general category.

Looking at the previous year trends we can say that you have a good chance of getting

Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Environmental engineering, Production in DTU.

Biotechnology and Mechanical in NSUT

CSE, Software and electricals are quite competitive and hence it is hard to get these branches with your rank.
