DTU Delhi All Questions

see the seats for outside delhi candidates is very less compare to the local candidates, around 9 seats for no sub category outside candidates. however the merit list prepared by  the basis of marks in best of four subjects (including English) in XII Board Examination or its equivalent examination. Vocational / Skill-based courses (as specified in the CBSE list) can not taken  in the best four subjects.

For tie breaking the below mention facts would be considered,

Candidates having higher score in English (Core/Elective/Functional) will be given preference.

In case the score in English is the same, then the date of birth will be considered. Elder candidates will be given preference.

however there is also some certain factors on which the cutoff score varies like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category etc.

so participate in the counselling and lets see whats come around.

You can get OBC certificate from the respective authority. For this you have to submit address proof, number 2 identity proof, cast identity certificate. We can get both advantage from DTU and NSTU. OBC certificate criteria most important it is i his parents income for the last three years less than 8lakh will be .

In 2019 the All India cut off rank for admission to Computer Science Engineering in DTU for general category was 5896 in round 1 and the cut off in round 4 was 8852 under Delhi region. You need to score minimum 99 percentile and score minimum 180-200 marks in JEE Main to have decent chances of getting seat. CUt off may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates applied, difficulty of exam, number of seats available etc.

According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your approximate rank would be near about 43,450 and on the basis  of this rank if you belongs to general category and from Delhi as you have mentioned in the question, you can get admission to DTU because last year the cut-off was around 48,000 for Delhi residents.

Note that the prediction was made as per previous years cut-off because cut-off for this year has not been released yet and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
