If you are from NCR(Delhi), then the JEE(Main) Rank should be around 8-9lakhs(Based on the previous year's cut off). If you are not from NCR, then JEE(Main) Rank should be around 2-3 lakhs(Based on the previous year's cut off).

No matter where you have studied, you'll be able to get a job anywhere in india. There is no state-wise restriction for that.
DTU being a fancy university it is highly like that the placements will be good in that university. So u may try to be placed in campus itself in a company from Delhi or you may be recruited off campus too!!

ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION (SECONDARY) is an examination which provides platform to support the students granting them scholarships who want to pursue their engineering career from only IITs/NITs . So it means that it is for 31 National Institute of Technologies (NITs) and 23 Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) only.

The cutoff rank for admission in cse course of Delhi technical University last year in fourth round was
8852 for Delhi region candidates while it was 2866 for outside Delhi region candidates.
Hence any student need to score above 200 marks for his admission in this college .

Candidates will be divided based on two regions (a) candidate applying from Delhi Region and (b) candidates applying from Outside Delhi Region.

(i) Delhi Region Candidates A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located within the National Capital Territory NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only.
Reservation Provided 85% of total seats.

(ii) Outside Delhi Region Candidates A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.

Hey, You can go for B.Tech program in DTU through lateral entry. You can fill the application form from the official website dtu.ac.in. The duration of the Degree programme is 3 years as you will be admitted directly in the second year of the regular B.Tech. Program.
The admission will start from 1st week of May 2020. The application will close in 1st week of June 2020. And then you will have to give a entrance exam which will be conducted in 2nd week of July 2020 for lateral entry. The registration process will be online and also you will have to pay registration fees (1000 INR for general category and 500 INR for ST/SC/PWD)
For eligibility: The candidates seeking admission to B. Tech. Lateral Entry Programmes must have passed a three-year diploma in any branch of Engineering awarded by any State Board of Technical Education / Diploma recognized by AICTE, Delhi with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Joint admission concelling committee (JAC)will conduct the admission for DTU.  The online form will be released on last week of may and the admissionin B. TECH will be purely on the marks of JEE mains paper 1.and for admission in B. ARCH score of paper 2 will be considered.
