Hi Vikrant,
This year, JAC Delhi will only conduct 4 Rounds and then a final Spot Round for filling up vacant seats in NSIT, DTU, IIIT, and IGDTUW.
Now, so far the cutoff till Round 3 has been declared.
If you look at the cutoff rank of DTU, Delhi for EWS (Delhi) candidates, it is 33,313 for Mech with Automobile branch.
EWS category has been introduced in JAC Delhi for the first time, so there are no previous cutoffs you can look for any sort of reference.
But, in my opinion, the cutoff for Round 4 will increase till 40,000.
And, then you will have to wait and hope that it goes above 50,000 in the Spot Round so that you can get a seat in your desired branch.
Otherwise, you can definitely get some other branch in DTU.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
Hello Vikrant, No, I don't think you would be able to get mechanical with specialization in automobile course at this rank. The 2018 closing rank for the spot round was 41,091 for this course. You might want to chose other courses like Engineering Physics, Production and Industrial Engineering which had cutoff above 55,000 for the Delhi region candidates.
Hi Saurabh,
JAC Delhi will only conduct 4 rounds this year and a final spot round for filling any vacant seats.
Based on the JAC Delhi 2018 SC category (Outside Delhi) cutoff of DTU, Delhi after Round 4, you can get all the branches apart from Computer Engineering (COE).
So far, the cutoff till Round 3 has been declared and if you look at it, you can basically get all the branches apart from COE.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
Dear Aspirant,
I understand your concern and I am here to help you regarding that !
So, i would personally recommend you to go with these choices any of these. Because, sometimes getting a seat in these colleges itself is abit tough and you did it. Getting admission in Colleges such as Delhi technological university and IIIT is somewhat typical. Alsoz i don't recommend you to drop this year and please go with any of the choices in which you are interested accordingly.
Hope this helps !!
Best of luck !!
Hey Sushrut,
It totally depends upon you that whether you want to drop a year or go for environment engineering. In my opinion if you have a good amount of interest in environment related studies and engineering related to it then go for environmental engineering otherwise you go for a drop.
Thank You.
Dear Aspirant,
You mentioned that you have scored 78.75 percent in your higher secondary examination. Now you applied for BBA in Delhi Technological University.
You have a decent chance to get a BBA seat in Delhi Technological University.
Best of luck.
Go to the below mentioned link for more details about the College:

Hey saubhagya !
According to the eligibility criteria for BBA at DTU , the candidate must have passed 10+2 with a minimum percentage of 50% in boards. And since your percentage is more than that , you are eligible for getting admission in DTU , but now it comes to whether getting a seat or not , so let me te you that accordinv to the previous year merit list for BBA at DTU , only the candidates who had their percentages above 90% were given a seat. So ,the cutoffs will obviously increase this year and hence , your chances are very low for getting a seat there.
Hope it helps!
Hi ! Yes and obviously you will get a chance or seat in DTU with your rank. If I am not wrong and analysing previously year trend you will get it in 3rd or 5th round. So just go for it. You can also opt for NSIT if you doesn't get your stream in DTU. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.
Hi Yuvraj,
The order of preference that I am providing is based on the most important factor i.e. PLACEMENT.
Here is the order of the colleges along with their 2018 average package for CSE branch-
1. NIT Trichy
2. IIT Patna
3. NSIT, Delhi
4. DTU, Delhi
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
