I suppose there is no such qota as such for EWS in JAC Delhi. The categories for which reservation is available are SC(15%), ST(7.5%), OBCs(27%), Defence(5%), Persons with Disabilities(5%). Of the total seats available, 85% seats are reserved for the canditates passing the qualifying examination from an institute located in NCT (National Capital territory of Delhi.

But, 6K rank is good enough to get yourself selected in DTU in general category. Not sure about EWS.

Hi Jai,

DTU and NSIT Delhi give admission only on the basis of your JEE Main rank.

I can provide you the cutoff ranks for DTU and NSIT of previous years for SC category (Delhi Region) candidates.

You can get a fair idea of your selection.

In 2016, after the last round-

Cutoff Rank (DTU)- 3,63,222

Cutoff Rank (NSIT)- 3,54,048

In 2017, after the last round-

Cutoff Rank (DTU)- 3,28,009

Cutoff Rank (NSIT)- 3,19,112

In 2018, after the last round-

Cutoff Rank (DTU)- 4,16,351

Cutoff Rank (NSIT)- 4,11,677

Hope this helps you.

All the best!!!!

You should have atleast passed your class 12th board exams from a recognized board with a minimum percentage of 50% to be eligible for admission. DTU does not release its exact cutoff for admission in BBA. But, according to previous trends, they might offer you BBA at a percentage above 90 (which should include a language). Register and wait for selection procedure.

Yes your percentile and marks is good enough to get in dtu. You can also get good nits like nit punjab, Rourkela, nit Durgapur, nit punjab, Rajasthan. You have a chance of getting cse also. You may get nit suratkal in special rounds but not good branch

Hello,
You have no chances of getting admission in DTU based on your jee mains rank and category. You can try for admission only in private colleges through state counselling like SILICON, CV RAMAN, GALGOTIAS, GL BAJAJ, etc.

Hello Shubham
You need to obtain a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in your intermediate examinations in order to be eligible fir taking admission in NITs, IIITs and various GFTIs.
As far the as the 60% criteria of PCM id considered, you are fulfilling that.
If you have aggregate 75% marks in 10+2 examinations or you are amongst the top 20 percentile students of your Board, then you can take admission in DTU for sure.
