Dear Nitin, 

B.Tech (Regular) admission is based on a valid score in JEE Main followed by Joint AdmissionCounselling. DTU conducts its own entrance test named Common Entrance Examination (CEE) to offer admission in B.Tech (Evening) & B.Tech (Lateral) programs. Admission to B.Des. is given on the basis of UCEED score.

First of all please confirm whether you are in the top 20 percentile cutoff of your board as without it there isn't any chance to get a seat in DTU or NSIT Delhi as per JEE MAINS eleigibility criteria. Also, if you are from Home state then there will be much ease for you.

as per the previous year trends the last closing general rank for outside delhi region in dtu is around 35000. so you have slim chances of admission but i suggest you to fill the form of counselling as you may get a seat in the spot round.

The closing rank, for general category, in Delhi Technical University for Civil Engineering course(CE) is roughly:

27727 ( for Delhi candidate)

8411   ( for Outside Delhi candidate).

JEE Mains is an annual exam that is conducted by the National Testing Agency and the CBSE for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other institutes. It also serves as the first stage for admission to IITs through JEE Advanced.

EWS is a new category that has been created by the MHRD for economically weaker sections. 10% seats will be reserved for those candidates whose annual family income is less than INR 8 lakh per annum.

As for your question, Joint Admission Counseling (JAC) Delhi takes admission for its member colleges - DTU, NSIT, IIIT Delhi and IGNOW through JEE Mains. In order to get admission to these colleges, you only need to fill the form of JAC Delhi, there is no need to fill forms of colleges seperately.

Then click on the link beside 'View GATE results' (the link is in red colour)

Enter your e-mail id/ enrollment ID/ Registration ID

Enter the other relevant details and you will get the results.

Hello there according to the score that you are telling i think you will be able to get admission in DTU as oneof my friend's with almost similar scores is currently studying there . The category you belong to shuold not affect your case as your scores i feel are decent enough for admission there.
