Hello student if you're not interested in ECE branch then you should not go with IIT Roorkee, yes it's true that IIT Roorkee is more preferable among students in comparison with DTU because of faculties facilities and the tag of IIT.
If you're interested in CSE and you're getting a seat in DTU then without any hesitation get admission in DTU and go with your interest so that you can do better in future and enhance your skills.
DTU is also a top notch engineering college in so there's no need to worry about academics, faculties, campus life etc.
Cu t off vary every year on various factors like level of question in examination seats available and total nunumber of applicants in the entrance examination. Admission in DTU is on the basis of marks/rank obtained in Jee main where as admission in IIT Roorkee is through Jee advance.

Admission in Delhi technological University and netaji subhash University of technology is done through jac Delhi counselling. The counselling allotes college and branch on the basis of rank in JEE main. At 97 percentile in jee main ,it is quite difficult for general category students to get into top branch like cse, it or ece in these colleges. However some lower branches may be allocated to you on the basis of cutoff.

Hello Aspirant.
Hope you are doing well.
There are very less chances of you to get the admission . But the cut off varies every year so maybe you'll get the admission because cut off depends upon various numbers of factors such as the difficulty level of exams, no of candidates, etc. But the cut off for the reserved category is comparatively low than the cut off of unreserved category.
GOOD LUCK, STAY MOTIVATED AND HOPE THIS HELPS.
Thankyou.
Hello,
It is totally up to you to decide what you wish to study. But, since you don't have a definite interest, I'd like you to consider what you'll learn in each of the courses before making a decision.
If you enjoy math, MCE is the place to be. DTU has a strong faculty, in my opinion. MCE is more of a computer science degree than a computer engineering degree. You'll have to put up with a lot of math, but the placement packages will be better than those offered by EE.
On the other hand, the current situation in EE is engineering courses and placement in the care industry are not good. PSU is an option, and campus placement does not come with the same high-pay packages as MCE. However, it is a well-known subject, and you can easily move to Computer Science in a Masters or, better yet, a Ph.D. program. MCE does not provide this level of freedom.
Watch related videos on YouTube and read related articles about ongoing studies in both fields. It's entirely up to you. Make an informed decision.
Best of luck. :)
Greetings!
Delhi technological University is one of best college for pursuing b.tech.The admission is done through JEE main. Once you cleared jee main , you have to register for jac counselling. If you scored 130 out of 300 in jee main , then there are less chances that you can get good branch in this course if you belong to OBC category. However there are chances that you can lower branches like mechanical or electrical or biotechnology in this. If you are targeting top branches like computer science, information technology, software engineering then try to score 160+ for obc category.

Hello,
If you are seeking admission to undergraduate Engineering course in Delhi Technological University you need to appear for JEE Main and qualify in it. DTU doesn't not conduct separate entrance examination. Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) will conduct the Counselling for admission to B.Tech and B.Arch in DTU, NSUT, IIIT, Dehli and IGDTUW. Candidates with valid JEE Main score can apply for admission. JAC counselling will commence after the JEE Main results are declared.
