Dear Aspirant, according to last year around 70-80% of students got placed. The highest package was around 16LPA and the average was around 7LPA and the lowest package is 4.5LPA. I hope you are clear now. If you have any other doubts feel free to ask. All The Best!!!
Hello, I hope you are doing well
2020 was a year to forget for all of the world, Covid and lockdown affected everything and everyone. The impact can also be seen in JAC Delhi 2020 cutoffs, not just the ICE branch which you mentioned and not just NSUT. DTU, NSUT, IITD and IGDTUW all of them had a great cutoff difference compared to the previous years.
There were two cases for the huge difference in cutoff, one was covid obviously, maybe the authority thought that the preparation of students was not that good in lockdown and they gave a huge relaxation. Other than that many seats were added in DTU and NSUT, NSUT has added two new campuses NSUT East and NSUT West, so that was another factor involved in huge relaxation in overall cutoffs.
Hope this helps.
Hello, I hope you are doing well
There are a few things which you should consider before you can apply as an OBC Candidate in JAC Delhi.
If you want to apply as an outside Delhi Candidate then you are good to go, but if you have done your class 12th from Delhi and want to get admission through Delhi state quota, you will have to check on a few things , since your OBC Certificate is affiliated from UP so you would have to check if your caste comes under the Central Delhi OBC list too.
After that you will have to get your OBC certificate from Delhi, because JAC Delhi only considers a OBC certificate issued from Central Delhi Govt.
Hope this helps.
DTU IT is the best option present with you at the moment its not that all other college you mentioned are not at par with dtu but you told that you want to start a startup so delhi is the best place to do so as it is full of resources also dtu it placements are great so you will have a backup option as well. Also delhi exposure for startups is great in its initial years so dtu is the best option for you.

Hey candidate,
Yes 12th marks matter for qualifying for DTU examination which has a criteria
Where you should have minimum of 60% in physics, maths and chemistry.
Good luck,
Thank you
Dear aspirant,
I would request to kindly mention your crl rank in tthe comment box so that I would be able to guide you in a correct and an organized manner. Because without the crl I won't be able to give you any prediction regarding your chances of getting into DTU.
Considering you have given jee mains this year your percentage won't play a role in taking admission in DTU. You are only required to pass your 12th examination and thats all.
So, it you are a delhi candidate then you would have more chances of getting DTU rather than other state candidates. The cut off generally stays between 10k to 40-50k for lower branches and for other states it closes uptill 30k.
Hi
Admission in DTU is completely on the basis of jee main crl rank through jac delhi counselling
But,
To be eligible for DTU your class 12th marks does matter.
I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but with 55% in PCM ,
You are not eligible for admission in DTU .
This is because,
the minimum percentage requirement in PCM is 60% in order to be eligible for DTU
For your reference,
JAC Delhi eligibility criteria is different for different colleges :-
>>>> For B.Tech in NSUT, IGDTUW and DTU
To be eligible one must pass his or her class 12th board examination with physics chemistry mathematics and English and must have got at least 60% in aggregate of physics chemistry and mathematics
>>>> For B.Tech in IIIT-D
to be eligible you must get at least 80% marks in the aggregate of best 5 including physics chemistry and maths. You must also have got at least 80% or more in mathematics
>>>> B.Arch in IGDTUW

hello,
if you can work very hard and seek good placement opportunities then go for electrical at DTU. EE branch at DTU is considered tough and very low scoring by students. of we talk of placements and internships, less core xompanies visit but there are many non core companies that provide various opportunities.
mechanical is one of the oldest and better branch at Manit ,it can offer exposure to real industries around. many good companies visit for placement. placements are good , classes are less so you can also prepare for other exams alongside.
both the colleges are very good at their places, so choose between electrical or mechanical , whatever college you take admission to, if the field is of your choice you will do great , whatever be the college, nd between these two, both colleges are good.
you just need to work hard in the field you choose , if you have interest in mechanical go for it , and if you feel you want to do electrical go for it , the field matters the most. if you work hard and excel in the field of your interest , the college wont make much difference.
so, you should make a decision on basis of your interest - mechanical or electrical.
hope it helps.
