DTU offers admission to candidates for both Btech regular and lateral entry programs. There is a total of 122 seat intake for civil engineering. If you are seeking admission in BTech regular program the eligibility criteria are that you need to have at least 60% in 10+2 and a valid JEE main score. Hi
DTU offers computer engineering instead of cs i. e computer science
Yes, outside delhi students are eligible for DTU
Seats are offered through JAC Delhi counselling conducted on the basis of jee main.
In which 85% seats are reserved for Delhi region students.
While the rest 15% seats are available for outside Delhi students
Also,
To be eligible for DTU one must pass his or her class 12th board examination with physics chemistry mathematics and English and must have got at least 60% in aggregate of physics chemistry and mathematics .
It is very difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat in DTU as cut off keeps changing every year due upon several factors like
number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
kind of marks obtained by them ,
toughness level of the jee main examination ,
number of seats available for the branch you want etc.
When we go through previous year trend then ,
In round 9 of jac counselling 2020, for obc category to get computer engineering , 54515 crl rank was closing rank for outside delhi region student in DTU.
You can check the same at

So, to be on the safer side you should try to get around 50,000 rank which is roughly around 95.7 percentile i. e around 110 - 120 marks as per our rank predictor at

Hello,
If you are enquiring regarding admission to B.E/B.Tech in NSUT and DTU then the admission is based on All India Rank in JEE Main through JAC counselling. Each branch has different cut off. Every year the cut off changes as it depends on various factors such as total number of candidates applied, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. You can check the previous year cut off for JAC counselling using the link given below
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jac-delhi-merit-list
Considering the previous year cut off you need to score minimum 95 percentile or above in JEE Main. For that you need to score minimum 180-190 marks or above in the Entrance Examination.
You can use our JEE Main college predictor tool to know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Dear Student,
Actually it depends upon the position they want to recruit like if they come here for software developer post then definitely they will allow only CSE/IT student to sit campus placement not any other branch. You should also know that Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. are product based companies and they mostly hire student from CSE/IT group only.
If you also want a place in this company then you need the develop the required skill and then apply for the off campus placement where your branch doesn't matter, whether you are from mechanical or microbiology, you just need to develop the required skill.
Best Of Luck!!!
Ya the college contain necessary infrastructure ,facilities and eqipment . In classrooms, laboratories, library, sports centres and hostels we have all type of basic facilities like water coolers wifi facilities and many more and these all are well maintained and also are in good condition . The living spaces and food is hygenic and clean.
In the delhi technological infrastructure is a four hundred and fifty meter running track and hockey football grounds are also available volleyball ???? courts basketball courts and tennis courts are also in this University
The college infrastructure is best one among all the colleges I think in Delhi. The colleg itself is so big and covered I think around 160 acres with so many department and building. The Raj soin Hall and others buildings are amazing with the best infrastructure.
