Hello Aspirant,
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JAC 9th round then it shows that :-
Closing CRL rank for OBC candidate of Delhi for DTU was :-
So for this rank you need to secure at least 80-90 marks in JEE-Main as per previous year's analysis but it might change depending upon this year's data so for safer side you should target for at least 100 marks in JEE-Main 2022 and percentile should be around 92.57 - 95.03, you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

Hi Rohit!
No doubt, DTU offers good placement opportunities for students but in case of biotechnology its is comparatively less than the other courses. On the other hand , Biotechnology in NSUT has good number of opoortunities in the companies such as IBM, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, etc. Also, as per the reviews, every year the top salary package offered in Biotechnology is more than 25 LPA in the field of coding. It is an emerging field in the world of science. BT course contains computer science as an essential part of the curriculum which makes it more versatile to work in other IT industries.
Thankyou!
Hey Aspirant,
Considering placements, I’d say DTU = NSIT = NIT. Almost all companies that come for placements visit all these campuses, so the opportunity one gets is nearly equal in all colleges. In fact, companies like Google and Facebook have stopped visiting most campuses in India, and rather conduct an open test like APAC (for Google). So every college student has an equal standing in their recruitment process. It’s upto you how you present yourself before your recruiter.
So, choose either DTU or NSIT, you can't go wrong. Just work hard as much as you can after you get in, there's no limit to heights you'll be scaling.
Both my NSIT and DTU friends have made it big in life. They have worked/are working in companies like Facebook, Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, Bain, there are IAS officers, quite a few folks who made it to IIM, FMS, Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Oxford, University of California.
Get in and work hard. Don't waste the opportunity after you start, a lot of people start taking it for granted after they get into the college.
Good Luck :)
Dear Aspirant,
You can take admission in DTU,NSUT,IPU if you have the valid caste certificate. The catch is your caste needs to come under the Central List. You can check out on your own if your caste is mentioned in the reserved category(OBC) central list. To know more about reservation criteria in JEE Mains examination check out the link I am providing here.

Good Luck!!
Good day, candidate.
The Delhi Technological University (DTU) is a well-known higher education institution in the country. This university offers a wide range of courses in a variety of fields. JEE Mains scores are used to determine admission to the BTech programme, which is then followed by JAC Delhi Counseling.
Now, if you want to study CSE in this institute, you must have a JEE Mains rank of around 9000 in your OBC category. This information is based on prior year's patterns and the DTU College cut-off. The data may vary slightly, however to get into the CSE branch, you must have a JEE Mains rank of at least 9000.
I hope this information is useful to you.
Regards.
Hi Aspirant,
Yes you can take admission in DTU ,if you are having obc certificate then on OBC quota but before that you need to get scores to clear cutoff to get admission.Admission to BA (H) Economics and BBA courses offered by USME is based on the performance in qualifying examination.B tech admission is based on the JEE scores and CEE exam conducted by the college itself. For B desg the college goes for UCEED score and for Mtech it accepts gate scores only.
Hope it helps!!
Dear Anurag,
On 96 percentile your rank will be somewhere between 40920 - 46000.
You can check your rank yourself by going through our rank predictor tool, below I am pasting the link for it.
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Now for an OBC candidate of Outside Delhi region, the maximum closing rank in 2020 was 30366 for Environmental Engineering and by 30,000 rank all the branch of DTU get filled. And as you asked about Mechanical Engineering, then the closing rank for it was 27306.
You can check the cutoff and other details of DTU by following the link below.
https://dqxeclau.top/university/delhi-technological-university-delhi
So by the above analysis, it seems that you have very low chance to get seat in DTU with any branch unfortunately.
To know the colleges that are best for your rank range, you can use our college predictor tool. Below I am mentioning the link.

I hope this answer helps you.
All the very best!!
Ya the college contain necessary infrastructure ,facilities and eqipment . In classrooms, laboratories, library, sports centres and hostels we have all type of basic facilities like water coolers wifi facilities and many more and these all are well maintained and also are in good condition . The living spaces and food is hygenic and clean.
In the delhi technological infrastructure is a four hundred and fifty meter running track and hockey football grounds are also available volleyball ???? courts basketball courts and tennis courts are also in this University
The college infrastructure is best one among all the colleges I think in Delhi. The colleg itself is so big and covered I think around 160 acres with so many department and building. The Raj soin Hall and others buildings are amazing with the best infrastructure.
