Hello student,
Bsc and Btech are two different courses that can't be compared to know which one can prove to be better. The choice of course should depend on the choice, preference and scope. As per your query, I find Btech from DTU will be much better option. Btech is a course with good scope that may give you a placement. DTU is also a good choice for btech.
Kindly go through the given links for your query :

Also, you can compare both the colleges here in the link given below :

Thanks.
hello aspirant,
Each year the cutoff changes due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level etc.but based on previous year analysis we can predict the cutoff.the cutoff last year for dtu cse was 9789 till last tound.which means you will have to score around 150-160+ .however keeping a target above 200 would be helpful for you even if the cutoff rises.
hope this helps,
thankyou.
Dear aspirant,
According to your question and as per the choices given by you the NSUT mechanical will be a better option as the placement stats of DTU civil is not a very impressive one whereas the NSUT placements are good .
i am providing you the link for nsut for more information-

Hi Aspirant,
Both DTU and NSIT are good colleges.Admission to these colleges is based on JEE rank and a decent rank is required for admission.According to past year's statistics like 2019,2018 rank for CSE branch in last round of intake in 2019 was 2866 and in 2020 it was 2734 .However you can still get civil, mechanical in DTU with rank above 5000 in second to last rounds. Now coming to NSUT you can get cs in rank like 1849 and within 2000 as per last few years. However in civil, mechanical you can get in with rank within 9000 and IT within 3k of rank.
However you can get into IIT for engineering only by cracking IIT Advanced.
Hope it helps!!
From view of career scope and prospects I would suggest you to prefer Electrical Engineering at Delhi Technological University over IIT BHU Pharmaceutical and IIT Patna Metallurgy. DTU has excellent infrastructure, faculty and research facilities and is one of the Best when it comes to Electrical Engineering in North India, next to IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee. The institute has a very strong employer outlook and most of the Top Companies like Tata Motors, Texas Instruments, Adobe, Microsoft, Google, Intel are regular recruiters from Department of Electrical Engineering.
However, this is my perception, incase you are seriously interested in pursuing Engineering from One of the IITs I would suggest you to prefer IIT BHU over IIT Patna, as you will have a better exposure and more opportunities. Secondly, Metallurgy is a good branch if taken in one of the Older IITs, whereas the MT Department at IIT Patna is just a couple of years old and lacks in experience, projects and expertise in faculty and research. At IIT BHU, you will have a number of Non Core Opportunities in IT, Software, Finance and Analytics domains besides getting a fair chances to securw a Branch Change in first year, perhaps the grading system at IIT BHU is one of the Most relaxed among most IITs.
Hello, if your 12th board has mathematics or computer science subjects you can pursue engineer further. But you have to do diploma in computer applications or related field to be eligible for direct lateral entry. You can refer this link to know about the diploma courses offered in our country https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-diploma-engineering-colleges-in-india
Best wishes.
hi,
see cutoff score for any courses and in any Institute differs year to year and depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, candidates category. so to assume any marks can not possible. however try to score as much as possible and avoid to make any negative marking. analyze the past years questions trend and practice and give mock exam frequently.
hope it would help.
hi,
I assume you are asking about delhi technological university lateral entry exam, DTU LEET is the abbreviated form of Delhi Technological University Lateral Entry Engineering Test. It is conducted for the admission of the students directly in the third semester of BTech programmes. Candidates must have completed Diploma in Engineering can apply for DTU LEET. however there is no seat for computer science engineering. only mechanical, polymer, bio technology and engineering physics available for lateral entry. follow the below link to know in details:

Hey!
As per the previous years records, and if you are a general category candidate then you will need 35-40 marks to qualify GATE . And to get admission in DTU or NIT Kurukshetra three digit rank is enough. But if you want a good branch such as CSe or ECE/EEE then you will need rank below 600. Overall, you need to score atleast 80+ out of 100.
