Delhi Technological University has pretty low closing ranks. In CRL of over 5 lakhs, it is not possible for you to get admission in DTU engineering colleges , not even in spot round.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that DTU has started offering BBA course since few years only. Generally, as per previous cutoff trends, 90 percent and above is a good percentage to get admission into DTU. However, your percentage is close to 90 so there are decent chances of converting DTU. Moreover, since you belong to Delhi, preference will also be given as DTU is a state governed university.

Your question refers to scope in government sector after B.Tech and M.Tech in civil engineering. For getting into government sector you have to give competitive exams and interviews, your selection will depend on these exams and not on the college from which you have completed your degree.

You can get into PSUs( public sector undertakings) such as GAIL, BHEL, IOCL, AAI, COAL INDIA through high  GATE score in civil engineering.
Another exam is IES (Indian engineering services). If you aspire to be an IES officer, your thorough and deep knowledge of civil engineering subjects will be a plus point.
Every government competitive exam tests your core knowledge related to you branch.

As far as colleges are concerned DTU has more intake as compared to jamia milia but fees for civil engineering in DTU is way higher than Jamia milia.

As far as placements are compared, DTU has better placements in civil engineering.

According to previous year cutoff for DTU through home state, you won't fetch a seat with this rank.
It depends on the category you belong to. If you are a general category student you will not get admission in DTU with this rank.

I have mentioned the Highest closing ranks in the particular year for general category.

DTU cutoff 2019  (round 4)
Environmental engineering- 36715

DTU cutoff 2018 (round 3)
Environmental engineering- 39343

I would like to tell you that as per last few years cutoffs, a score above 90 percent is considered to be decent enough to have good chances of converting DTU BBA. Although, your score is close enough, still you can expect chances of converting the college. You can follow college's official website for exact cutoffs.

Firstly, congratulations for getting admission in DTU!

BA Economics is a newly introduced course of DTU under the department of University School of Management and Entrepreneurship.

As it is known DTU is a well renowned University. So, no doubt the curriculum is and the course offered is well efficient. The faculty members are highly experienced and are from good renowned colleges of DU. Without any doubt you can opt for it.  It is totally worth joining.

However as it a latest course, not even the first batch has graduated , so it is too soon to say anything about the placements. But the newer the better is what goes well with DTU. A renowned institution like DTU will make you efficient in your course and there are high chances of you getting placed.

if you belong from Haryana state then your certificate will definitely come from Haryana and not from Delhi as your state of domicile will be Haryana so the certificate that you are talking about right now cannot be issued by any other government body of other states. I hope this was helpful
