Hi,

You have not mentioned your category. To get COE (CS is not offered in NSIT) in NSIT you need to score  at least 250 for general (outside Delhi). And for Delhi domicile, you need 240–250 . This was the scenario for JEE 2018.

Every year the cut off rank i.e. closing rank varies on a number of factors. So it is safe to assume that a score above 250 should get you admission in NSIT.

As for DTU,

you need atleast a 210+ score to get CSE. Considering you are general, you need high scores to clear cutoff.

The placement in these colleges are exceptionally well!

Hello. Unfortunately the cuttoff for mechanical In DTU is quite high. For sc category as per your query is 42736 as per last year cuttoff.

So, as you can see if we coordinate with last cuttoff, your chances are very less. But don't loose the hope, you have many other great options as well such as :- SRM,VIT.

Hope that helps!

Hey!

As per previous years records, it is quite difficult to get into DTU or NSUT(NSIT now) , but you have decent chances to get chemical, mechanical engineering or civil engineering there. However, you must try till last round of counselling as trend changes every year.

Hope I answered your query.

Thankyou

Hello student.

Hope you are doing well.

As per the previous year cut-offs, it is difficult to get admission in either of the two due to other state quota.

But you might get admission in nsit in biotechnology field in spot councelling. You can try for that.

Hi,

Faculty wise the Electrical engineering is good in Delhi technical university, you may have to work hard to get good placement offer as Electrical engineering (EE) are not the ones that headlines in the leading national dailies.

Yes, you can take admission this year.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that Symbiosis Noida is a better option among the two due to the following reasons :-

Course Curriculum- It is on a better side as compared to DTU. Symbiois introduces practical learning as well as theoretical learning concepts which helps in making a study ready for the competitive corporate world. DTU on the other hand has traditional subjects so the learning outcome might become less interesting as compared to Symbiosis.

Faculties- Faculties at Symbiosis are well experienced from top Institutes and have several years of diversified teaching experience. If you talk about DTU, faculties there are also quite good but since DTU has launched its BBA course at East Delhi Campus in 2017 only. It becomes difficult to answer based on students feedbacks.

Placements- Symbiosis has a brand value which is recognised by most of the companies. So, the deserving students gets the opportunity of getting placed in top companies. Also, one should be aware that DTU has been known for its engineering education since long. It has stepped recently into management courses hence it is in the developing stage.

Keeping these factors in mind, I hope you would be able to make the best decision.

Feel free to ask any query in the comments section below. Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.

Dear Aspirant,

According to your rank, you have no or very very low chances of getting any of the above colleges as considering previous year cut offs of JAC councelling, you have high rank than the required rank. But You might get some other good government college in Delhi or in other states like Haryana. So you should go for that.

Also the above prediction is based on previous year data and cut off changes every year,So final results may vary.
