Classrooms are the standard ones which you will find in most of the old engineering colleges. Most of the classrooms are air conditioned. Labs are well equipped with all the instruments. Sports facilities are decent
Don't have too much expectations regarding the teaching quality. Even though professors are highly qualified some of them don't take regular classes. But on the other hand there are professors who will make you fall in love with the subjects.
Being a top notch college the placements are excellent. If you are from CS or ECE related branches you don't have to bother much. In other branches you would have to put some efforts but the end result would be worth the effort.
Campus Life is the best here in DTU. There are fests and many other activities throughout the year. The academic load isn't much so you would get enough time to enjoy the campus. Also the campus is pretty huge (168 acre) so you have plenty to explore.
Good spacious air conditioned classrooms with some classes having projectors. Many tech giants like Samsung have research labs in the college itself. OAT is a good example of modern infra and there are also a number of sports facilities to choose from.
Teachers are not that great but good. The quality of teaching is very poor though considering the hefty fees that is being charged. In the end you have to learn yourself. Don't be dependant on teachers whatsoever.
Placements are good, especially in tech sector because of large intake of CS students from branches like COE, SE, IT, MAC. But if you are in lower branch, expect an average of about 6 LPA. But after you get placed in any company, you are not allowed to sit for the next one, which I think is not fair.
With an annual fee of close to 2 lakh per annum, it is very slowly becoming like a private college where fees are generally high. But when you enjoy the beautiful campus, in the end you feel like it's all worth it.
Nothing short of Amazing. Green campus with a number of fests here and there around each month and many societies for Co- curricular activities. There is also a respectable intake of foreign students, so there is a diversity of students.
If you are getting NSIT and DTU, you should openly chose DTU over NSIT. College life is something that is crucial in shaping one's personality and I think DTU takes it to the next level
I have good experience. It has a good infrastructure and joy culture, there are good science labs and neat and clean , surrounding Good catten good , well food serving process, I hope it will be helpful for guys.
There are very well faculty and cooperative. Sometimes they get angry , but still they are very well and good. And the way of teaching is oral and sometime be for practical, and the academic performance is dependent on your input guys.

The labs have all the required equipment in good condition. The library has a vast collection of books. The food in the canteen is hygienic. There is a campus-wide WiFi available.
I am studying Electronics and Communication Engineering. The quality of teaching is really good. The teacher are very knowledgeable. The curriculum is a little outdated. Some of the software used is outdated. But overall the basics are made clear.
A lot of highly-reputed companies visit the campus like Google, Microsoft, McKinsey&Company, etc. The highest package offered was 1.02 crore. The average package was 11.17 lakh. Software & IT sector bagged the highest number of offers. The placement process is very well handled. The college is very supportive during the placements time.

The campus life is great. There are many place to hang out with your friends like Nescafe, MechC canteen, Mic Macs, the sports ground, etc. Most of the students are day scholars. It is located near the industrial area of Samaypur Badli. There is adequate access to public transport. There are a lot of PG accommodations right outside the campus. There are a few hospitals nearby.
Everything is good some how it's bad in hostel mess but it's ok as compared to other IITs. Classes are pretty good and wifi is very fast , hostel rooms are good and are cleaned on regular basis.campus are full of trees which reduces the air pollution inside the campus as we all know delhi has lots of air pollution
I m pursuing BTech in mechanical engineering and the teachers who teaches us are well qualified and are very cooperative. Ofcourse our curriculum is updated compared to any other colleges . Dtu represent India in many college compititions.

Infrastructure of DTU is so good. The facilities we get here includes library, sport centres, Health centre, canteen and shopping plaza. Hostels for both boys and girls, computer centre, Electronic surveillance system and many more.
Delhi technological university is one of the top universities in delhi mainly in technology field which is defined in its name obviously. As studying technology from here would be the best decision as the faculty they have is very excellent in their field so you'll never face any problems related to your subjects.
After coming to DTU you should forget about the placement because if you good grades in your semester then automatically you'll going to get good placement. As last year the highest package offered to the student was of Rs 1 crore which is undoubtedly a very big amount.
College infra is not up to the mark there is no projector in classrooms to demonstrate lesson and classrooms and library is good but now many seat is open so it seems not good and many other facilities like hostel is only provided to outsider and for insider if you have direct contact to Arvind kezirwal. Sports facilities are good and sports complex is very big and beautiful.
Academics is not up to the mark but quite good research and other facilities are not provided to everyone and not so good for research and GPA is also relative so it is quite good but in terms of attendance there is not strict rule of 75% it depend upon many factoes
Placement is not so good for core branches but very good for CSE and it or se branches every company comes to college for CSE to recruit young mind but GPA is also is important criteria for recruitment .
85% Seat Allocation for Delhi Candidates : DTU reserves 85% of its seats across programs, including B.Tech, BBA, and MBA, for candidates who have completed their qualifying education—such as Class 12 for undergraduate courses or a Bachelor’s degree for MBA—from a recognized institution located in Delhi. Given that your schooling is from Delhi, you fulfill this criterion and are eligible for the Delhi quota. This reservation policy prioritizes you over out-of-state candidates, who compete for the remaining 15% of seats, thereby enhancing your chances of securing admission.
Validity of Caste Certificate from Haryana : Your caste certificate from Haryana is valid for claiming reservation benefits at DTU, provided it is issued by a competent authority and adheres to the Government of India’s guidelines for categories such as OBC-NCL, SC, or ST. DTU, as a state university, accepts caste certificates from other states for reservation purposes, so your certificate should not pose any issue, assuming it aligns with the category you’ve applied under. For instance, if applying under OBC-NCL, the certificate must be recent (typically issued within the last year) and reflect your status on the Central OBC list. The 85% Delhi quota is determined solely by your schooling location, not the state of issuance of your caste certificate, so this aspect does not impact your eligibility for the quota.
MBA-Specific Eligibility at DTU : If you are applying for DTU’s MBA program, the eligibility criteria include a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates). Admission typically requires a valid CAT score, followed by a counseling process or an interview. As a Delhi candidate, you fall under the 85% quota, and your caste certificate can be utilized to avail reservation benefits, potentially easing cutoff requirements or prioritizing your seat allocation.
Hello Aspirant,
If you are okay with any BTech branch and are open to a lot of other areas, then any branch at DTU is generally better than CSE at JSS. DTU (Delhi Technological University) has a good reputation, better campus, alumni network, and placement packages across branches, as well as internships and projects. Even if you don't get CSE at DTU, ECE, IT at DTU, or even mechanical can be good, and you would learn coding for example, or otherwise ease into this area through self-study coding platforms and internships.
If you are fully aware that you only want to do Computer Science and have a deep passion for programming from the start, then CSE at JSS can also be a decent option. However, overall DTU offers a better platform for your long-term career development and flexibility.
No, Delhi Technological University (DTU) does not use CUET for admissions to its B.Tech programs. DTU primarily relies on the JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions, with the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi handling the process. CUET is used for admissions to other UG programs offered by DTU, such as BBA, BA (Hons.) Economics, and B.Des.
Elaboration:
B.Tech Admissions:
DTU's B.Tech admissions are based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
JAC Delhi:
The Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi handles the counselling and seat allocation process for B.Tech programs at DTU, along with other participating institutions like Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology-Delhi (IIIT-D), and Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW).
CUET for Other Programs:
While JEE Main is the primary entrance for B.Tech, CUET is used for admission to other UG programs like BBA, BA (Hons.) Economics, and B.Des at DTU.
