Dtu is one of the finest college to take admission from jee mains. ... if you are good in studies and score good in you jee mains exam you should Definitely take admission here. PLACEMENT 5/5. Dtu gives very attactive package to students all most all students are placed.
This is the best part about the college. Neither the classes nor the syllabus are nerve-wrecking. The syllabus, at least for the Mechanical Engg including the first year which has common subjects, is very relaxed and doesn't require a lot of time to cover. Here, you can just read for a couple of days before exams and still score decent marks.
Everything is good. Campus infrastructure is vey good well maintained and hygiene. Campus size is approximately 180acres which is very big. Even the sports complex is also very big we can play various sports like cricket ,volleyball ,football.

The infrastructure is really amazing. Classrooms, labs and the central library are maintained well. Sports complex is well equipped. Proper hygiene followed at the canteen. The faculties are supportive. All this makes DTU a dream college for sure.
The curriculum is quite stagnant with respect to the recent advancements in the related fields. However, the students have ample time to work on the skills they wish to hone apart from the curriculum. The faculties do encourage students to come up with their ideas and provide guidance.
Placements are marvelous at DTU when it comes the tech branches. For the non tech and the core ones, the number of placemnets is relatively less. Top recruiters visit the college and also allow the students from other branches to sit for their exams. The T&P department is very supportive at the time of placement drives.
DTU is definitely well worth the money spent on it. It has great opportunities for someone to explore. The faculties are knowledgable and the infrastructrure is pleasing and well maintained.
Campus life is a bliss. The students are inquisitive and so learning along with them becomes exciting. Various fests are organised. DTU has different societies to be a part of. Seminars are organized time and again for students of various branches not only related to the subjects but also cater to other important soft skills.
College Infrastructure seems pretty good at very first visit of my college visit, labs, library and sport complex are one of the best places in the college. All over very spacious, clean & nice campus!
I have experienced pretty decent academics inspite being taught in the online mode. Faculty is good and knowledgeable, mostly PHD teachers are there! I think that curriculum is one place which seems to be outdated or needs some updation.
The college is very well known for it's placements. Around 70-80% of the students majorly from tech branches were placed at the end of the placement season. Highest Domestic Package from my knowledge was 60-65 lpa from CS/IT/SE branch & international package was of around 1.2 Crore per annum from Amazon last year! Average Salary is around 17-18 lpa for tech placements & 8-10 for non tech placements which I think is very good. College Placement Cell is active and supportive as the seniors.
The yearly fees for my course which is B.Tech is nearly 2 lakhs which I thought is expensive but college has a very renowned brand value and very good placements which makes it a worth also several scholarships are there for students who belong to lower economic backgrounds. At last it feels your money is a total worth.
I heard about the college's life is the best among Delhi' s most of the engineering colleges but I totally experienced it in the Online Mode so I can't comment on that or you can say unsure about it that's why giving it a 4 star rating!
The best we can expect from a college is the individual's growth irrespective of its course and academics which seems to be growing! Inspite being studying at home still there's a hope that we'll going to enjoy the rest of our college life in physical mode in the campus itself for sure. So kudos for that! Hope my review will help most of the students who are preparing to pursue their engineering and getting admitted to a good reputed college and make their parents money a worth. Keep Learning!
DTU, popularly known as IIT Bawana has a vast beautiful infrastructure of around 165 acres. It has AC classrooms and a pure water supply for students. The Training and Placement Cell of DTU manages all placement offers provides a smooth hiring process.
The per-year fees of the B.Tech course is around 2 lacs which is quite good for an engineering college offering a high guaranteed placement.
The campus life at DTU is very chilled and smooth. It has a vast campus with various attractions like DTU lake, BR Ambedkar Auditorium, a big and mini OAT where all fests take place. The students here are chilled and relaxed. Though the campus is closed for 2 years we are not able to get any view of it but its a beautiful experience being a DTUite.
If you are getting DTU, it's worth taking admission in it. It is one of the best colleges with a wonderful campus. Students here get a lot of time exploring their passions and following their dreams.
There are different school bunches for getting sorted out occasions. I have myself played football in school and that was an incredible encounter. There are entomb school fests and the understudies additionally go to outside universities for support in a wide range of occasions. The inn framework is extraordinary and better than the other IIT's I have been to. There are altogether the offices like owen, iron, dryer, cooler and so on.
The educational program is planned by experienced resources and understudies can likewise help in molding the educational program. The are different understudy bodies for that. As inn and personnel are extremely close you get an awesome opportunity to connect with workforce..
The arrangements are best for software engineering and different administration organizations additionally visit the establishment. The situations in center branches is slightly below average yet understudies who think about coding get set without any problem. But the overall placement record is very nice. Almost 90% of the students get placed.
The fee is around 2lac per year which is not so much for a engineering college and they also provide worthfull facilities. There is grant for haryana understudies which I took. There is a scholarhip dependent on pay which understudies can take. On the off chance that you are not monetarily solid and scholastically great you will get grants
The area is lovely. The grounds is being developed stage yet will be finished very soon. The inns are awesome in correlation with other IIT's. A large portion of the work is finished. There are two grounds south and north. The south grounds is finished and thw north grounds is practically finished.
Being acceptable in examinations I was spurred by my folks and instructors to plan for DTU. Subsequently I began my preperation with distance learning program. I had known about this school since it was recenty opened in my state. It was because of my imprints I was getting new engineering college as it was nearer to my home I pick this school. The audits were additionally useful for this College which helped me in taking this choice.
The infrastructure of our college is very good. Classrooms are very airy, and the college is lush green. The library is huge and good, but there is a problem with the Wi-Fi connection. Labs are very good, but there is no hostel in the college.
I am studying mechanical engineering I love this field because I love machines and want to know more about it . The teaching quality here is good. The curriculum is well updated and yes I feel that what I study will get me job.

85% Seat Allocation for Delhi Candidates : DTU reserves 85% of its seats across programs, including B.Tech, BBA, and MBA, for candidates who have completed their qualifying education—such as Class 12 for undergraduate courses or a Bachelor’s degree for MBA—from a recognized institution located in Delhi. Given that your schooling is from Delhi, you fulfill this criterion and are eligible for the Delhi quota. This reservation policy prioritizes you over out-of-state candidates, who compete for the remaining 15% of seats, thereby enhancing your chances of securing admission.
Validity of Caste Certificate from Haryana : Your caste certificate from Haryana is valid for claiming reservation benefits at DTU, provided it is issued by a competent authority and adheres to the Government of India’s guidelines for categories such as OBC-NCL, SC, or ST. DTU, as a state university, accepts caste certificates from other states for reservation purposes, so your certificate should not pose any issue, assuming it aligns with the category you’ve applied under. For instance, if applying under OBC-NCL, the certificate must be recent (typically issued within the last year) and reflect your status on the Central OBC list. The 85% Delhi quota is determined solely by your schooling location, not the state of issuance of your caste certificate, so this aspect does not impact your eligibility for the quota.
MBA-Specific Eligibility at DTU : If you are applying for DTU’s MBA program, the eligibility criteria include a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates). Admission typically requires a valid CAT score, followed by a counseling process or an interview. As a Delhi candidate, you fall under the 85% quota, and your caste certificate can be utilized to avail reservation benefits, potentially easing cutoff requirements or prioritizing your seat allocation.
Hello Aspirant,
If you are okay with any BTech branch and are open to a lot of other areas, then any branch at DTU is generally better than CSE at JSS. DTU (Delhi Technological University) has a good reputation, better campus, alumni network, and placement packages across branches, as well as internships and projects. Even if you don't get CSE at DTU, ECE, IT at DTU, or even mechanical can be good, and you would learn coding for example, or otherwise ease into this area through self-study coding platforms and internships.
If you are fully aware that you only want to do Computer Science and have a deep passion for programming from the start, then CSE at JSS can also be a decent option. However, overall DTU offers a better platform for your long-term career development and flexibility.
No, Delhi Technological University (DTU) does not use CUET for admissions to its B.Tech programs. DTU primarily relies on the JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions, with the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi handling the process. CUET is used for admissions to other UG programs offered by DTU, such as BBA, BA (Hons.) Economics, and B.Des.
Elaboration:
B.Tech Admissions:
DTU's B.Tech admissions are based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
JAC Delhi:
The Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi handles the counselling and seat allocation process for B.Tech programs at DTU, along with other participating institutions like Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology-Delhi (IIIT-D), and Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW).
CUET for Other Programs:
While JEE Main is the primary entrance for B.Tech, CUET is used for admission to other UG programs like BBA, BA (Hons.) Economics, and B.Des at DTU.
