Happy Hustling!
Hello,
Comparing your rank which is 92699 to previous year's cutoff for IPU, the admission chances look really tough for you. The previous year's IPU Cutoff for OBC category for 85% state quota seat was :-
So as you can see the cutoff is really high and as of this year the cutoff might be high as well due to the high competition. You can refer to the link below for more cutoff details for various years :-

However you can still try for colleges through the 85% state quota seats of UP. You can check the cutoff for various colleges here

Hello,
IPU did extend the counselling registration process for BJMC (bachelor's in journalism and mass communication) till 19 October, i.e. today was the last date.
The concerned authorities have already begun the the counselling from September 25,2020.
The steps in the counselling process are filling of choice, allotment of seats to the candidates, fee payment, reporting to the allotted college and verificationof the documents. A counselling fee of rs. 1000 needs to be paid by the candidates in any online mode. The officials will send an official call letter to the students who cleared the entrance exam. Counselling of the BJMC course is done on the basis of rank secured. At the time of counselling, the candidates need to visit the deptt and get their documents verified as a part of the process. The authorities might also conduct a spot round for the seats left vacant( if any).
