have a question that i made a mistake in ipu counselling. choice filling and got my first preference... yesterday i have submitted my seat allotment fees to i can go for second round and edit my preference sheet and get into another college...the fees withdrawal till date is 7 july ...will round 2 is conducted before that?... because after 7 fees cannot withdraw..and if round 2 is not conducted before that i am going to withdraw my fees ...and if i withdraw it i am not eligible for round 2 .so what to do?

Hii Anshika !

I have checked ipu seat allotment rules and it won't allow you to change your preferences once you lock them and the deadline is over. Now in your case I see that you are allotted your first preference but you want to change it and get another college ( which maybe at lower preference or not present at all), sorry to inform you but this is not possible.

That's because you cannot edit your preferences and since you have already got first preference there is no upgrade option to higher preference and obviously you cannot upgrade to a lower preference.

So the final conclusion is that you should not withdraw your fees just for getting a college in the lower preference and editing preference. I will recommend you to indeed enjoy in what you have got as there must be some criteria that made you to put it on higher preference.

Hope it worked for you !

My college name is delhi metropolitan which is affiliated to ip university , teachers are good but they do fake promises only at the time of admission, not any single placement they given to us , totally waste of money

It’s frustrating to face such a situation. Delhi Metropolitan College is affiliated with IP University, and while the faculty may be good, lack of genuine placement support and fake promises during admission are serious concerns.
