Hey there,

Your chances of getting the college at this much score in jee mains examination is very low. You should better apply for private colleges if you want a seat this year.

I will tell you to go for the following colleges :

Upes Dehradun

Amity University

Sharda University

Lpu University

Silicon institute of technology

Bennett University

Chandigarh University etc.

I hope you have got your answer.

Good luck ahead !

Hello,

Here the tags you have given for PU are different but in which PU you got 65% you haven't specified.

For JEE main yes you can take an admission in Government college in your domicile. you may get state quota or any other reservation to get an admission there. Along with that you should apply for Private colleges also. It's better to be secured. IF you get an private college through counselling then your fee structure will be low and you can apply for Tution fee wavier with your qualifications also.

to Get an IIT:- you have to qualify JEE Advance with a top score and for NIT you have to get a rank below 3k.

and +2 marks also matters and it should be above 90%.

So, look for any government or private college.

To get the list of collegesas per your rank and category, use the college predictor:- https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

Hope it helps!

Hello,

as per your percentile your rank will be above 10k which is not possible to get an NIT or IIIT as they have seats less than 100 for each department and candidates applying for admission are in lakhs.

Using your percentile search a  government college in your domicile. They will consider and you may get state reservation making easy to take an admission.

If not you can go for private colleges too. In India there are 1000s even of private colleges where many students study and give their best to show their talents.

So find one which is suitable for you. Private colleges are not bad and they don't have high fee structure. They charge less than the IITs and NITs.

Hello Sajjad Zaheed ,
National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra is far more experienced and famous than Indian Institute of Information Technology Jabalpur . NIT Kurukshetra electrical branch has better placements than IIIT Jabalpur Computer Science and Electronics & Communications. So ,if you don't have any branch preference and are placement oriented then NIT Kurukshetra would be a much better option .
Hope it helps and all the best for your future endeavors .

Hi ! You have a very JEE main OBC rank. As per last year you will easily get nit Manipur, and nit Mizoram, nit Meghalaya and nit Sikkim. You may also get other low ranked nits with cs branch. In case of IIIT you will get IIIT Kota, IIIT Kurnool, and IIIT Himachal Pradesh. Other low graded iiits are also at your hand. Last time closing rank for OBC for IIIT was around 95000. So best of luck to you.

With this rank you wont be able to get iiit for general catagory with a  good branch. Go for the counselling I am sure You will get some nit like Durgapur,Raipur,Silchar etc. you can get good streams in Nit. I will therefore advice you to go for nits.

Dear Aspirant, hope you are doing well. According to previous year's trends and cutoffs, at this rank, you might get lower ranked NITS like Nagaland, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram if you belong to home state category. For more details you can check here:-http://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff. Hope it helps!!

You have very less chances of getting Good IIITs. You may get some new IIITs. That too you may not get a good branch, which are worth.

Hello Shivam

With your mentioned rank it is highly unlikely for you to get into NITs or IIITs. You could still apply for the josaa counselling process and try your luck. But I would suggest you to try for state level engineering colleges which accept JEE main scores. You could get good colleges and your desired branch. You could use the following link to know which colleges you might get based on your scores.

College Infrastructure

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.

Overall college life here is not too much but good.
