Hello Disha
As you had mentioned you got 84 percentile in JEE Mains , this year general cutoff in 89 percentile so if we compare that from previous years like
If one got 81 in Mains he had qualify for advance cutoff but he didn't get seat in nit or iiit in JoSSA if brlong to general category or even OBC category.
So i don't think you can get good older NIT or IIIT or if you get one then branch may be not that good.
But still you can try for newer IIIT and NIT ,you may got admissions into them in 3rd or 4th round of JOSSA counselling.
And, if you are from Home State quota then also you stand a chance to get seat in CLC Round in many NIT and IIIT.
Keep Trying
And if you qualify Advance then it would be great.
Thankyou
Hello aspirant!
If you belong to the general category, I think it will be very difficult for you to get any IIIT's or GFTI's. This percentile will not take you to even low ranking colleges in JOSAA counselling. But if you still want to make sure, register yourself for JOSAA counselling and all the very best!
Hi Sayli Dahake,
As you mentioned the percentage of disability as 78%, you have a fair chance to get into any of the IITs and NITs.
And as your percentile is 60% in JEE, you have a fair enough chance to get into the NITs of your home state easily. If you have given JEE advanced also and qualified for it too, then you can easily get into your dreamed IITs.
So, choose the colleges which are convenient for you and keep them in the order of their priority in the counselling.
Also, don't lose your heart if you missed your preferred college in the first counselling itself. There are further counselling rounds available and with your score, you can get into your dream college easily.
All the best.

Ask if any query. Good luck
Hi!! Yes you can admission in NITs and IIITs. You haven't specified any branch preference and your home state so I am just giving you a few suggestions:
Firstly give preference to NIT over IIIT unless you wish to pursue IT obviously. Some possible options in NIT for you are:
1. Metallurgy in MNIT,Jaipur
2. Metallurgy and mining in VNIT,Nagpur
3. Metallurgy and mining in NIT,Andhra Pradesh
These are just a few suggestions. You will have to go for metallurgy or mining in NITs since getting a seat in other core branches will not be possible. If you don't want these branches then IIIT is the other option for you. So if you want IT then go for IIIT or else go for NITs. Remember that you can always change branch after getting into college. Think well and decide what's best for you.
Best of luck!
Hello,
Based on this rank the chances are less to get a seat in IIIT Lucknow. The other admission chance you can have for Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad Prayagraj, National Institute of Technology Calicut, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur etc.

Hello Shivani,
As per the given info about your rank and category, you should be getting many colleges. However since as a preference you would like a NIT or IIIT, it would be hard to get admission there. However, you should apply for CSAB Special Round counselling. This will increase your chance to get admission in your desired colleges. All the best!
Hello Harshit,
There is reservation present in IIIT Bhopal for SC/ST student. There is no discrimination about reservations. Since admissions in IIIT Bhopal are done using the result of JEE, which has reservations for SC/ST.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
