If you are a general category student then, you have very low chances of getting admission in the top NITs or IIITs based on your jee mains percentile score.You can get North east NITs only at this score.

Hey Nandini, hope you are doing well. According to previous year's trends and cutoffs, at this category rank it is somewhat difficult to get into NITS and IIITS. If you belong to home state category of north eastern NITS like Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Agartala, Sikkim then there are chances. Nevertheless please wait for cutoffs to be out as it changes every year. You can try for other private colleges like Nirma University, PDPU, Thapar University, etc. Hope it helps!! Good luck!!

Congrats on such a good rank.
I think you will be able to get IIIT Chittoor because of previous year cutoffs for the general category.
You need to understand that there is no benefit of the cutoff for the ews category, there is only a reservation of seats in IIT's, NIT's and IIIT's.
Last year, the cutoff for the general category in IIIT Chittoor was-
CSE- 22525 (Closing rank)
ECE- 26764 (Closing rank)
In 2017, the cutoff was-
CSE- 23084 (Closing rank)
ECE- 27590 (Closing rank)
In 2016, the cutoff was-
CSE- 21653 (Closing rank)
ECE- 26276 (Closing rank)

Hi Sai,
According to your rank, it will be impossible for you to get a seat in a IIIT or NIT if you are not from home state quota because then you need to secure a rank below 20k to stand a chance.
But, if you are from home state quota, then you can apply for NIT, Durgapur and NIT, Hamirpur and for that also you will have to compromise top branches.

Getting NITs or IIITs basically depends your percentile which must be atleast 95 percentile or above if you belongs to general category but more or less it depends on category too getting 88.7 percentile means your marks must lies between 105-115 so if you belongs to general category getting these colleges not possible but if SC/ST or OBC finger crossed may get in spot round.

The chances are less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs however you can try for the state level counselling, To know your admission possibilities in other state level colleges you can use JEE Main College Predictor tool given below.

As you have mentioned that your JEE min rank is around 41000.If you belong to general category without even having a state quota reservation then you won't even have chance to get into any of the NITs if you want a computer science branch.You won't even be getting an information technology branch in any of the top NIT.But you have a chance to get into a good IIIT if you have this rank. And some of the other colleges which give admission based on the JEE main marks.Hope you have understood.Thank You

IIIT Trichy Admission is through JOSSA Counselling on the basis of JEE Main Score. You need to apply for JOSSA counselling when its registration get start. The registration is expected to start from second week of June, 2019. You can check the further information with the given below link.

College Infrastructure
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
Overall college life here is not too much but good.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
