Hello,
Congratulations on your rank!
Since you have not mentioned your category here, the query would be answered by considering the student as a general category student.
Here, you have asked for comparison between NIT Agartala, IIIT Gwalior, IIIT Knacheepuram and IIIT Kottayam so let us begin with NIRF ranking first.
NIT Agartala has been ranked 70 by NIRF. With a rank of 17401, the student has high chances of getting CSE seat at NIT Agartala. NIT Agartala is old and well established. It is good for CSE. With placement points of view, it is also very good as companies like Oracle, Capgemini visit the campus and recruit students.
IIIT Gwalior is new and very good for CSE. It has been ranked 81 by NIRF, but according to 2018 cutoffs, the student may not get CSE there as the closing rank for CSE was 12292, but you can get integrated 5-year program of B.Tech+M.tech in I.T. at this rank at IIIT Gwalior.
At IIIT Kancheepuram, you can get CSE according to 2018 cutoffs as the closing rank was 18297 for CSE. IIIT Kancheepuram has been ranked 197 by NIRF. It is also good for CSE.
IIIT Kottayam is new and yet has not been ranked but it is growing rapidly with good faculties and other facilities. It can also be considered good for CSE.
This was a glimpse of comparison between all the given colleges. Choosing one is your choice.
I wish you all the best and for any further queries, ask me in the comments.

Hello Aspirant,

Based on this JEE Main rank, The chances are very less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs but you can try for the state level counselling. To know the admission possibilities in state level colleges you can use JEE Main College Predictor tool given below.

Good Luck!

Hi aspirant,

Given your percentile, I assume your rank is around 1 lakh. Based on the previous year cutoffs, the closing rank for IIITs is around 30,000 for general category. So given your percentile, you have no chances of getting admission in any course in any IIIT.

You can use the link below to predict colleges based on your percentile: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

All the best!

It is a good rank. He can get into some of the best NITs and IIITs. He can also target for IIEST shibpur. I think he will be able to get into IT branch. Moreover he has fair chances of getting into IIITs and IIIT bhubaneshwar.

Hello Yash,

Congratulations on a good score in IIIT examination. You have a decent chances of getting admitted to most of the IIIT.

Hi Sujeetkumar,

In order to get the admission seat in any NIT or IIIT under SC category the minimum percentile required is nearly 92 .

dear aspirant.

congratulations for your score.

  • In case of NITs, 50 % of the seats are reserved for students from the home state, in case a state or a union territory does not have an NIT, seats for students are reserved in the nearest NIT. The other 50% of the seats are then divided in terms of reservations for students from other states, this is the Other State Quota (OS).
  • In the case of central institutions the quotas apply in the form of Home State (HS) Quota, Other States (OS) quota and All India Quota.Other quotas applicable during admissions include quotas for Jammu and Kashmir migrants.

you can try in the jac counselling

College Infrastructure

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.

Overall college life here is not too much but good.
