Hi Divyanshi,
Yes ofcourse you can get chance in JU. But to get chance you need to do exceptionally good in WBJEE. Your rank must be less than 500. Then only you can grab a seat in Jadavpur University.
Looking at your MATHEMATICS marks I should say that you must be strong enough in math to be a good engineer. Keep practicing and clearing doubts is the key to master mathematics. As 50% questions in WBJEE comes from mathematics, you must be prepared to handle the situation.
Ask queries whenever you need. Careers360 is here to solve any problem you face in future. All the best my dear aspirant !

When we talk about the placement, we must came to know about campus placement as well as off campus placement. Most of the students opt for the off campus placement because it is totally depends on your talent as well as your hard work.
For off campus placement you have to reach to several companies not to the several colleges. So its no matter that from which college you have peruse your b tech degree, you must have the relevant skill which were demanded for that company.
So enhance your skill so that you can opt for more more company's off campus placement.
GOOD LUCK !
A bit underwhelming due to inadequate funding. Basic labs found in first year are not upto the mark. However when it comes to equipments, toh would probably all of them except half of them are obsolete from industry pov.
The Jadavpur University has quite old buildings. But, it has a central library with separate libraries in each department. It has 4-5 canteens at different points in the campus. It also has an Open air theatre, A gym, and a basketball court adjacent to the main ground.
The university still uses alot of buildings that are way too old and they are maintained very rarely. But, few new buildings have been built recently which is a good thing. There is a lack of adequate labs for example in my department (Economics) there is no sufficient facility. There is also lack of ACs in the classrooms.
