As you are from jharkhand and you are pursuing diploma final year and you are pursuing the final year in the ece department in ranchi as you can apply for the university but after the completion of your course without completion of course you are not eligible to apply for that university and if you want to apply try it once but i think most probably it is not possible study well to get seat in that college ALL THE BEST for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge would be helpful to u.

Hello student I'm sorry to inform you but yes you won't get admission into B.tech undergraduate course in Jadavpur University with marks obtained in class 12. The only getway to get into Jadavpur University is WBJEE,This year WBJEE already conducted on 2nd of February. If you've not appeared in it then you won't get admission intp Jadavpur University. You need to wait for another academic year and apply for WBJEE next year to get into Jadavpur University for B.tech course.

The admission process of JU totally depends on your 10+2 Marks ( higher Secondary marks).

Please mention your Catagory ( I.e , whether you belong form GEN, or SC or ST or OBC ) .

Considering , If you are from GEN ,  Your WBJEE general rank would be in the range 15750-16250. Sorry you cannot get any engineering branch in Jadavpur University using this rank. You can wait till the Mock up Rounds,  if any seat remains vacant.  But the chances are very slim.

see cutoff scores changes year to year and it depends on various factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, streams of engineering you have applied wtc. if you are from general category your rank should be within 800 to secure computer science or information technology in jadavpur university.

Eligibility for bsc geology in jadavpur university is provided below :

You should have passed 10+2 Examination from any recognized Board in Science with Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and securing at least 75% marks in average obtained in Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics

For obc category , minimum requirement of marks is 67.5% in average obtained in the above mentioned three subjects.
While in case of SC/ST/PD/Sports category, minimum requirement of marksis 56.25% .

Admission process:- Admission is offered on the basis of marks obtained by you in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination. There will be no Admission Test for admission in bsc courses

Registration for bsc courses including bsc geology will start :- First week of June 2020
Last date of registration :- Second week of June 2020

Jadavpur University don't accept JEE mains rank for their B.tech degree admission . Admission of B.tech courses in Jadavpur University occur through WBJEE counseling . WBJEE is joint entrance exam of West Bengal . You should have top 1000 rank in WBJEE to ensure your b.tech admission in Jadavpur University . In your case your rank must be around 184,230
Predicting exact cut off is difficult as it depends on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination. But with last year records its tough to get admission in any nit with this percentile.
