Hello student I believe its not fair to compare two examination of same level which is more hard or easy the syllabus of both the entrance examination is same you need to prepare for both of them and practice a lot of question so that you'll learn new concepts and solve them as fast as possible.

The average placement of Jadavpur University for CS graduate engineers is around 8-10 Lakh per annum, placement may vary from student to student on the basis of their academic qualifications and skills.

As jadavpur is one the best college in the  nation and far better than any nit on the basis of education placement fees etc.

See, admission in VIT does not offer admission through JEE mains. Admission in VIT is completely based on VITEEE entrance exam.
For Jadhavpur University you will have to appear in West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (Wbjee).You will have to get rank under 100 in wbjee for admission in JU.

see it depends on which course you want to pursue, for bachelors degree like bsc, bcom, ba admission is based on 10+2 score or written test conducts by university. for admission in engineering course, you need to appear in wbjeeb or jee main exam, however only 15% seats are reserve for admission through jee main score.

WBJEE eligibility - candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 60 percent marks from a recognized board.

jelet exams conducts by wbjeeb, question structure is total of 100 mcq, total marks of the question is 100. All branches of Engineering/Technology will have one common paper.Each negative response will fetch (-1/4) marks. total time duration is 120 minutes. since seats are really less compares to students participate in the exam, you need to score more than 90+ to get admission in jadavpur university.

Yes, Jadavpur University, Kolkata offer admission to lateral entry only through JELET. But to get Jadavpur University, your GMR Rank should be within top 30 to 40 or branch rank 1 to 2. There are only few seats in JU for lateral entry. So work hard and best of luck for preparation.
