After 3 rounds

Cutoff for outside state students is 107

And for home state students is 103 !

All dreams of getting cse at 300, 350 ranks lie shattered.

It is indeed really hard because The Jadavpur University faculty council of Engineering Departments has decided to reserve 90% seats for domicile candidates from this year.
So, its really seems difficult to enter the college now though i will get a good rank then you may have chances.

for taking admission in jadavpur University you need to have at least 60% in the aggregate subject of your PCM, yes this is true that you need to have 60% in each subject of PCM but there is no any special cut off criteria on the basis of your board exam for jadavpur University, Still  you need to have at least 60% in aggregate subject, main focus you should give on WBJEE exam.

Mtech without GATE is a 3 year course while after GATE it is a 2 year course.
Almost every top company which goes to IIT came here with very few exception.
as far as placement are concerned you will be allowed to sit in each of these company. In most of the companies like Microsoft, Amazon etc, there is no percentage criteria.

So for placement in core companies you will have to be very good at coding + knowledge and it is not easy. but in an average company there will be 100% placement.

5 year integrated course in Jadavpur University is good. And if you want to take your gate exam then ofcourse you can if you are in 5 year integrated course at Jadavpur University. But you can apply only when you are in fourth year or higher during your course. Gate is a exam you can give lifetime.
