The clubs and associations are always coming up with fun and different activities.
Overall it is a good college, with great professors and quality education.
Just one thing is missing in infrastructure of NMIMS NAVI MUMBAI, and that is a proper auditorium that can fit good amount of people at the institute. Rest everything is pretty good and also construction is going on to increase the area of college.
I'm studying BBA. Quality of teaching is good. So like there are 6 subjects. Out of that 2 teachers are excellent! 2 are good. 2 are okayish. The course is BBA but it has very diverse subjects. It cannot be compared to BBA in other colleges. Here everything is taken very seriously and there is fight for every mark.
I'm in first semester so I don't know much about placements yet but I have not heard of it as very outstanding or very high at NMIMS. I have seen seniors talking about how difficult it can be. But I guess the word 'placement' does hold a meaning like that.
My course costs 3,25,000 per year. I would not say it is value for money. Same thing is being taught at DU for like hardly any money. But this is a private university and the fees is quite high. Everyone mostly comes for the brand name!
Any event that has to be held at college, there is only the main staircase to do that. Be it sports, or a cultural night. That place can be converted into anything by adding a dj, some stalls and lighting. The campus is not that huge but for what it is, it's nice. The library is very good. The location of college is overall good. It's located right below the metro station and lots of autos can be found outside so travel is easy too. The environment at college feels safe.
lift sensors are poor and fingerprint id sensor doesnt work at times. we AC classrooms with smartboard and normal boards as well. we have multiple washrooms which are cleaned on daily basis. We have BCRs GCRs and multiple creative rooms like music room and moot court etc.
i am studying bba because i feel like business has alot of scope and its my passion and the quality of teaching is not that bad like other colleges plus we have the most updated syllabus and yes the course gets us job ready
the quality of education makes us placement ready with various seminars happening we are always aware about the companies needs. the avg package went upto6 lakh this year with highest being 9 lakhs. around 50%students were placed this year.
course costs around 4laks to 3,25,000 depending on the year. yes looking at the packages i feel like it is all worth it in the end. And looking at other colleges nmims still provides the best value for money.
best features is its security and worst are the technical issues at times. students come from a very diverse background and teachers are suppotive and knowledgable . the campus location is kind of remote but updated with metro being connected it can handle emergencies well.
Necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment like lifts, library, labs etc. are provided. The maintenance for the lift could be better and could use better sensors. Overall the campus is pretty well maintained.
Skills are up to date and practical like excel and power BI. The curriculum is also updated reasonably. Collaborative projects and projects that involve knowing more about the industry defiantly help.
The quality of placements for NMIMS Navi Mumbai for BBA is pretty decent with the highest CTC for BBA going up to 9 Lakhs per annum and the average being 6 Lakhs per annum. Good companies and opportunities are offered.

Academics of the college revolves around the basic course outcomes and relatable material for the students .Faculties are really very helpful and full of support. Exams are conducted on the regular basis .
Placement of the students is the main focus of the college .About 100% placement promise is provided by the college also the major companies come in the campus to hire the quality of the student and talents.
The college infrastructure is top notch. The campus is a Wi-Fi campus. All sort of laboratories are there in the academic wing. The equipments are well maintained and up to date. There is a central library that has all types of books inside it.
The academics is very good. Student gets a mentor to get there degree done. They are very helpful and all of them are highly approachable. The phd scholar students are also given permission to teach the students as per the subject so that they could on a part time while studying.
The placement here is very good as per the everyone says. There is a 100% placement. Top core companies all over the country come for the campus placement rounds selection. The pht students get job in the same college with the very good package if they want to do that do this teaching job.
Hello Mahi,
with a merit list number of 142 and a waitlisted status for NMIMS Kirit P. mehta school of law in mumbai, your chances of admission are promising. historically, candidates with merit numbers up to approximately 150 have secured admissin, depending on seat availability and withdrawls. its advisable to monitor official communications from NMIMS for updates on waitlist movements.
It is difficult to provide an exact p
Factors Influencing Waitlist Movement:
* Number of Seats: The total number of seats available in the core MBA program at NMIMS Mumbai.
* Acceptance Rate: The percentage of candidates who were offered admission and accepted their seats. If a significant number of candidates decline their offers to join other programs, the waitlist will likely move more.
* Withdrawals: As the admission deadline approaches and candidates finalize their plans, some may withdraw their acceptance, creating vacancies.
* Historical Waitlist Movement: The extent to which the waitlist has moved in previous admission cycles. This can give an indication of potential movement, but it's not a guarantee for the current year.
* Your Merit Rank: Your rank of 1076 indicates your position in the waitlist. The closer your rank is to the number of available seats, the higher your chances of conversion.
* Category-wise Movement: Waitlist movement can vary across different categories (if applicable).
* Introduction of Competency Assessment: For the 2025 admissions, NMIMS Mumbai introduced a "Competency Assessment" with a significant weightage (50%) in the selection process. This might have altered the dynamics of the final merit list and potentially the waitlist movement compared to previous years where more weightage was given to the NMAT score.
General Observations and Insights:
* Waitlists are Dynamic: Waitlist movement is not linear or predictable. It depends on the decisions of the candidates above you on the waitlist.
* Buffer Calls: NMIMS, like many other top B-schools, might issue more initial offers than the actual number of seats they intend to fill, anticipating some candidates will not join. This can sometimes lead to less significant waitlist movement.
* Past Trends - High Ranks Can Convert (but it's less likely): While some online discussions mention waitlist conversions at relatively high ranks in the past, these are not guaranteed and depend on the specific circumstances of that year. For instance, one user mentioned a conversion with a merit list of 3664 for NMIMS Bangalore, suggesting that movement can occur, but Mumbai is generally more competitive.
* No Official Data: NMIMS typically does not release official data on waitlist movement or conversion rates.
What You Can Do:
* Stay in Contact (If Possible): If NMIMS has a process for indicating your continued interest or for updates on the waitlist, make sure you follow it.
* Have Backup Options: It's crucial to have alternative MBA options and not solely rely on the waitlist.
* Monitor Official Announcements: Keep a close watch on the official NMIMS admission portal for any announcements or updates regarding the waitlist.
Based on the limited information available and the fact that your rank is 1076, the chances of conversion to the core MBA program at NMIMS Mumbai while being waitlisted are difficult to ascertain precisely. It would depend on the factors mentioned above, particularly the number of withdrawals. While conversion is possible, it's generally more challenging with a higher waitlist rank.
It is advisable to remain hopeful but also practical and continue exploring other opportunities.
Choosing between NMIMS Bengaluru and other institutes for your MBA General (2025-2027) depends on multiple factors like faculty, placements, industry exposure, location, and personal preferences.
Why NMIMS Bengaluru?
Good placements – The average package is decent, and many reputed companies visit the campus.
Industry exposure – Being in Bengaluru, students get better networking and internship opportunities.
Alumni network – NMIMS has a well-connected alumni base, which helps in career growth.
Things to consider:
Fee vs ROI – Compare the fee structure with the expected placement package.
Peer group – A strong peer group enhances learning and competition.
Specializations & curriculum – Check if the program aligns with your career goals.
