Excellent infrastructure . Centrally air conditioned classrooms. All the facilities are available in house like medical room , leisure room , seperate boys and girls room . Wifi facility is also available throughout the campus.
I am second year student studying b.com (hons) in the navi mumbai campus. All the teachers and curriculum are updated and excellent. Curriculum is updated every year and case studies are incorporated according to the market requirements.
Placement comittee is good in the college and is joint with the vile Parle canpus. The ratio in both the colleges is upto 100% placements of the students in all the schools of the college. No idea about this years placement due to all pandemic and stuff.
College infrastructure is very good. We don't have a huge campus, but we have a very good and well maintained campus. We have a very good classrooms, laboratories. All classrooms are AC, and has wifi in the whole campus.
Academics is also very good. All faculties are very nice. Attendance is mandatory. Quality of teaching is also very good. WE have weekly tests and seminars. Even guest lectures, Which helps us in placements interviews.
Placements Is very good. Last year 40% of the batch was offered pre placement offers. This year we had 100% placements with average package of 15L and highest going to 22L. AS long as you be in top 40% of batch, You'll get a good placement.
The college has all necessary infrastructure and facilities that allow the course to be delivered with ease. It also has access to a Moot Court Room for MC competitions and assessments. The Library is well equipped but could be better. Online access is given to various paid journals and websites (Manupatra, JSTOR, SCC Online)
I'm studying BBA LLB because of a keen interest in corporate law and IP law. The course is equipped with modern elements of the legal and management field such as AI and Data science courses, and the professors engage in discussions frequently
I am not aware of these specific details as I am a first year student. The overall impression of placements is satisfactory with better deals arriving everyday. I am a member of the placement cell and they work very hard.
Course price is around 2L/Year. It seems a bit large but it is suitable under the context of a major private university and the well equipped library and resources that are given to us. I feel my money is being utilised fruitfully
Campus is quite small - only one corridor owning to being situated in a city like Mumbai. There is no sports ground and the auditorium is a common one shared by multiple colleges. Students, teachers and staff are friendly and approachable.
The infrastructure is quite fine. It's nothing extraordinary or exemplary but serves the purpose. Although a few more classrooms and a separate moot court room could be introduced. The existing infrastructure in its quality is pretty good.
I am studying BBA LLB Hons. The faculty is good, they're helpful and mostly very approachable. They teaching process is also very comforting. The BBA division has less permanent faculty and more of visiting ones.
As of what I've heard from the previous years and the college brochures itself, the placement opportunities provided and quite wholesome in number. The placement cell helps in providing internships as well.
The fees that the college asks for is on the higher side when compared to what they provide. The infrastructural facilities are okay but in comparison to the fees they ask for there should be more. Apart from that, the college should be having common rooms or recreational facilities which aren't found in the place I go to.
There isn't much of a campus, it's more of a building. There aren't much facilities for extra curricular or recreational activities. The location is one of the pros list. The college is in the heart of the city, very near to the airport and transportational media.
Yes, my college has necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. We have fully air-conditioned classes with comfortable seats. Each class is equipped with a smart board. We have a moot court room, conference rooms, and there are 2 libraries for the students of school of law. The students have an access to the WiFi also. Our college provides with the hostel facilities too. The living spaces are regularly cleaned and the canteens provide good food at affordable prices.
Currently I'm pursuing BBA LL.B (Hons). I've always been attracted to justice and law is a way to ensure justice, that's why I'm studying law. The faculty of the college are easy to approach and friendly. They ensure that the students understand the topics well. The modules are up-to-date. And are designed to meet the employer's requirements.
NMIMS has dedicated Placement executives who have regular interface with the legal fraternity. The highest package was 14.5 Lacs + bonuses whereas the average package was 7.5 Lacs. Some of the law firms/companies where students have been placed are Integreon, Khaitan,IC Universal Legal, Nomura, Juris Corp, Phoenix ARC (Kotak Group) Amazon, Bharucha & Partners, Khaitan, etc
The course cost per year is INR 200000. I'm sure to receive a positive return on investment because my college is preparing me well for the future requirements of the legal field.
NMIMS School of Law, Mumbai conducts its classes on the 9th floor of the Mithibai College Building. So we just have a floor for us. I feel that my college has a prime location and is a safe place to learn and grow.
Compared to other law colleges, it does not have all the necessary facilities such as a well-stocked library or campus area but it has all the required facilities and well-functioning equipment. The food is clean and hygienic.
The quality of teaching is above average. the curriculum is kept up to date with the latest advancements which is a plus point. Except some faculty members, the overall teaching style is good in all respects
The placement record has been good so far. The average packages was 6 lakhs per annum in 2018. Most of the students who took help of the placement cell got a job, however, many students were interested in further studies.
I think the course and the college is worth the money as many other colleges with same type of faculty and placement record charge much higher fees. Comparatively, the fees is reasonable and the only problem lies with the hostel being outside the campus
most of the teachers and staff are supportive in nature. the college is situated in a safe and prime location. the campus area is just the building itself as there isn't any space outside the building area. the hostel is also a few kilometeres away from the campus.
When it comes to infrastructure, Nmims is considered one of the best at providing facilities in terms of classrooms, laboratories, libraries and all. As the cleaning is done regularly it makes the college campus more hygienic. The food that has been provided in the campus gives you a feeling of 5-star restaurant and offers every kissable thing you ask for, plus the cooks who work there wear Kroger gloves while they serve the food which in turn makes it more and more hygienic.
When it comes to academic, they offer every possible course that a student wants to explore. Updated technology, teaching style, updated curriculum, extra classes , presentation to make the class more active are some of the things they offer while reaching. Teachers are well educated and qualified and they try the best to solve the problems of each and every student I'm very crisp manner.
When it comes to placement, they have contacts with almost every possible firm in mumbai which makes them offer placements through many companies to its students. Plus the placement cell regularly stays in touch with students regarding there internship process and timely solve there problems regarding internships and placements makes it more impressive.
My course costed 2lakh per annum. Although it's sounds a bit expensive but when you compare this with other reputed colleges of India you will find this a bit cheaper and the things they provide is literally everything that you ask for. They give ever possible shot to explore your respective field and that's why I find this value for money.
When it comes to campus, they have a humongous building which will provide you literally everything but the campus life which students expects to be is somehow missing like an open playground, open campus where students can roam around there free time is missing. Inside the campus we have sports ares where student can play indoor games during there free time.
Infrastructure of this college is very nice. The buildings are well maintained and very nicely built. The classrooms are big and spacious and has all the necessary facilities and are air-conditioned and also has a projector.Colle also has bank facility and medic centre also. There is also an outlet of bru in the campus.
Currently, I am doing my masters here with a specialization in computer science. The faculty here are very well educated and experienced for masters and they are very helpful and try to resolve our doubts. The course curriculum here is regularly revised and updated as per the guidelines. College focuses both on theoretical as well as practical approach.Lab attendants are also very helpful here.
Placement cell of the institute is very helpful. The training sessions are arranged for the students which help them in gaining confidence. Coming to the figures, highest package offered here is 20LPA and that was offered to a management student . The lowest package offered for master was around 8lpa.
The college is very good and though it is a little bit expensive it is worth the money it charges. Mess food is not too good though but the hostels are nice.
Campus life is amazing here. Cultural and sports activities can be seen throughout the year and various competitions are organised which also serve as a little financial aid for students.
The college is not as big as other colleges in Mumbai and DU in Delhi, bit the basic amenities are made available in the college. The classes are well-maintained with a proper structure and the canteen has affordable food. The library has a remarkable collection of books and the labs have all necessary apparatus. There is no ground in the campus except a building and the WiFi service, though provided, does not have sound connectivity.
The teachers are highly supportive and experienced. I am pursuing B.Tech in CS which has a proper course structure and is well updated equivalent to all the skills required in the corporate sector, and hence making the course job-ready. The teachers conduct smooth internal processes but there is strict attendance issue.
About 80% of the students are placed every year from the college, which is a phenomenal achievement. The highest package was nearly 12 lacs p.a, with the average package ranging between 5-6 lacs p/a, which is good for a fresh pass out. There is an active placement cell operational in the college responsible for inviting the top companies in the college.
NMIMS is very expensive and is not affordable for all. My yearly fees was 3 lacs p/a, but good academic aspect and guaranteed jobs are the best compensation for the amount charged by them. The provision of all the facilities make the college worthwhile. The fees of almost all the courses are high, but other factors should be considered.
The campus life is amazing with the location being in one of the most developed parts of Mumbai, with places round to hang out. The teachers are supportive and the staff is cooperative. There are various activities and societies in the college like music, dance and drama. Besides, there are educational societies and others like MUN society. There is medical room to handle the emergencies effectively.
I would recommend this college to a job-oriented person. A person who is aspiring to excel in sports should not go for NMIMS, due to limited sports facilities.
Amazing building. Very well air conditioned. Multiple libraries in the two buildings. Atrium also has good place to study and the canteen also has good variety of food at very reasonable rates and the seating is also nice.
Good teachers. Syllabus is updated regularly and teachers are given today freedom to update and change the syllabus according to the latest industry requirements. Keeping up to date with whatever is happening.
Good packages. A large number of companies come for the placements and the packages being offered to students are also very good. With the option of placements in various parts of the country not just Mumbai.
Fee is very high. Around two lakh seventy fine thousands per year. But the facilities being provided are very nice and the infrastructure available makes the cost of education worth it. Not too expensive considering world class facilities
Hostels are situated at a very bad place for undergraduate student and do not have basic necessities like air conditioners and the WiFi only works after 6pm in the evening which is very restrictive. Not recommended
Hello there,
With a
Merit Rank of 444
in
NMIMS LAT (NLAT) 2025
, your chances depend on a few key factors:
1.
Mumbai Campus (Main)
Highly competitive
; usually fills up in the
top 100–200 ranks
, especially for General Category.
Unless many top-rankers withdraw or opt for other NLUs/private colleges,
chances are low
for Mumbai.
2.
Navi Mumbai Campus
Less competitive than Mumbai.
In previous years, ranks up to 600–800 have been seen getting offers here in later rounds.
So,
you have a fair chance
for Navi Mumbai in further lists, especially if you're from a reserved category or if many students withdraw.
What You Can Do:
Keep checking further merit lists (NMIMS usually releases multiple).
Fill float/freeze options carefully (if allowed).
Apply to backup colleges just in case.
If you belong to any reservation category or minority quota , your chances for Navi Mumbai increase further.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
Hello Aspirant,
With a merit number of 325 in the NLAT, the prospects for admission to NMIMS, Bengaluru are quite solid as NMIMS usually takes students with ranks up to about 400-500 depending on the year and seats available.
For NMIMS, Navi Mumbai, the cutoffs are higher (i.e. more competitive), so admission is possible but uncertain depending on the number of applicants, category (if applicable), and number of seats matrix that year.
Hello there,
In
NMIMS NCET (National Common Entrance Test)
admissions,
your chances of getting other campuses (outside Mumbai/Navi Mumbai)
depend on what you selected
in the application form
:
If you selected ONLY Mumbai and Navi Mumbai campuses:
You will be considered only for those two campuses .
You will NOT be considered
for other campuses like Indore, Shirpur, Hyderabad, etc., unless you
explicitly applied
for them during your form submission.
If you selected multiple campuses (including others like Shirpur, Indore, etc.):
Then you
can
be offered a seat in other campuses
based on your merit and preference order
.
Important Notes:
NMIMS strictly follows the
preference order
you give while filling the form.
If Mumbai/Navi Mumbai seats are full and your rank doesn't meet the cutoff,
you won't automatically be shifted to other campuses
unless you selected them.
NMIMS does
not auto-consider
unselected campuses for seat allocation.
What You Can Do:
If you only chose Mumbai and Navi Mumbai , and you don’t get a seat, then:
You can wait for spot rounds (if conducted).
Or reapply next year or in another intake (if available) .
You may contact NMIMS admissions to confirm campus change policies , but normally they won’t allow changes after submission.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
