Well the infrastructure is decent with the required things available. Laboratories are equipped with state of the art facilities. There are a total 6 academic buildings on the campus. All the buildings are equipped with lifts.
Well the college is under BPUT affiliation so the course structure and all other are held as per its prescribed rules and regulations. The department of CSE and ECE has a rich culture of conducting research activities round the clock. Research activities are also held in other departments too.
Mostly the IT companies visit the campus. If not on campus they make arrangements for off campus too. Visit of core companies on the campus is NILL. Well TATA Steel recruits via AMCAT for the students of EE, EEE, ME & CE.
Well many types of club are present in college for enhance skills and engage students in activities of their interest.
Infrastructure and facilities are quite good in nist. We have a well equipped library with proper facility. College is well maintained but in case of food college lacks behind. The taste of the food is not upto the mark
Quality of teaching is very good. Teachers are friendly and motivate and help us to excel in different fields. College is an autonomous so the curriculum is decided by the college itself. Teachers help for preparing for job interview also
Average placement in our college. But in the year 2020 we have seen companies for core branches also.different companies come for place ment into the campus and we can also opt for outside campus. College is supporting in this fields
I pay annually a amout of 153000/- including hostel which a good affordable price to study in a private college like nist. We are getting the facilities which should we get at that amounts. So in my view it's worth for money
Life in nist is average as we don't have much facility expect gym and swimming and some courts are there to play but we don't have a proper cafeteria aur something else for enjoyment. There should be a restaurant
So overall college is good.teaching quality is good in this college teachers are also too supporting and friendly. We could opt for higher studies as college has some tie ups. It have different clubs for extra activities
Mostly its fine, but on some odd days some incident happen. There are also some possibilities that you can do mass strike at the mess to bring a change in the menu. 4 times a day is something good which is offered.
Its it updated as per the curriculum of the country's B.Tech as somewhat everywhere. It mostly depends on your interest. You can personally do that by visiting those professors and working under their guidance.
Almost 70-80% get placed before leaving the college by some or the other way. Again, its about you dedication and zeal to achieve what you want. Highest salary from in campus is 8Lpa. Average salary is around 3Lpa.
Less fee in comparison of different ones of same level. And the average placement is almost same every where in private colleges. I think its personally your duty to stand on your potential and focus on what you want. I can just say that its achievable here.
Its a good one in comparison of same level colleges. Greenery and nature's scenery is one of the best thing about the campus. Worst thing is its main gate size. You shouldn't ever judge this college by its gate.
If you are an average dreams guy you can achieve big ones if you remain dedicated for 4 years consistently. Dream big and keep exploring your line of path, there are professors who will surely help you out.
NIST has a good academic record, placement records and also gave us platforms for curricular activities.Well maintained classrooms with smart boards, better laboratories with mostly needed equipments, Library facilities with every set of books. Hygiene ,neat and cleaniness is always followed.Healthy and nutritious food is always available.
Academic is outstanding as faculties teach us each and every point briefly with examples and using smartboards. Yes,our curriculum is updated with all modern teaching techniques followed and modern latest equipments are used in laboratories.
Academic is so outstanding and placement is also competitive and outstanding.85% of students are already placed with a salary package of 4.4 lpa and highest package was 19 lpa.Placement process is not easy rather tough and competitive.
It's 1 lakhs 81 thousand per year.Yes I feel I am getting 100% of knowledge as i investing so much.
College campus is well maintained and planted. positive environment is created.Students ,teachers are so supportive and friendly in nature.
I love my college as it has given me so much basic knowledge , principles , values for the entire life.
The infrastructure is good ..and is well maintained. There are more than three buildings . Each one have every accommodation . Classrooms are also good . Every classroom has a projector . We do have WiFi connection also .
The teaching quality is good and understandable. Teacher are well behaved and good in nature . They make the students understand all the chapters . They help us to achieve our goals . They provide us every thing needed to a student during studies.
Good number of placement takes place here . Every year almost eighty five percent of students get placed in more than two to three companies with salary offered three point five lacks per year . Campus placement is good at our college.
Course fee is a bit higher but it's worth . Because our college provides every suitable things to the students ,lab equipments , it has a library , dispensary .. so it's worth to put this amount of money .
Campus life is full of enjoyment and energetic . We enjoy the campus tour , those buildings , and a lot more things . The campus can handle emergencies situations also. It is situated in Berhampur near palur hills.
Yes infrastructure is fine and appropriate ,every necessary facilities are there. The facilities in classroom and laboratories are fine but in hostel its not so good ,the room is so small and the food is tasteless. In start of every semester every thing is maintained but with time it looses every thing.Living spaces are clean but very small.
I am pursuing b.tech from 2nd year in ece branch, because i have to do research in field of vlsi. The quality of teaching is good all the teachers are highly qualified.Yes curriculum is updated .For placement we need coding it is must to get job and coding is taught here .
Placement is good here ,90 percent of seniors are placed this year .Companies also come here and also gives highest packages ,almost everyone get job ,but the problem is not big companies come here for placement and for civil and mechanical there is less scope ,hope so this problem will also be sorted
It takes 1,50000 approx per year ,No i dont think my money is getting worth beacuse a lot of thing i learned here ,many best peoples i got here and also in India ,i think approx any college will cost this only so the fees ia payable.
College campus is neither so big nor so small ,its average .Students can participate in many activities like gyming, swimming, yoga ,painting, swimming ,dancing etc .Yes the support of staff and teacher is very nice, yes the location is safe .yes it can handle emergency.
no
Yes,college infrastructure is good. The labs, libraries are well maintained with required equipment and WiFi system.Students have a bit complaint about the hostel facility and food,so that need to be focused.
I have completed my B.tech in 2019.The curriculum is updated with recent technology.I have done the VLSI course there, which is helping a lot in higher studies and also for industrial use.The quality of teaching is average, cause all teachers are not up to the mark.
Placement is good for software field jobs, but when it comes to other fields,it is not up to the mark.Though some students get placement in their respective fields, but those companies are not regular visitors of our college.
It is good,if you can utilize all the facilities for your betterment.
There are many things where students can engage themselves, like different clubs, sports activities.
Yes, our college have a good infrastructure, all the buildings are well maintained. The labs are good and well equipped and facilities provided to the students are satisfactory. The classrooms are having both digital learning and traditional learning tools. Apart from these our college also have swimming pool, gym , a sports ground and a yoga center for the refreshment of students. There are two different libraries in our college one for our academics and other for competitive exams.
I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering. The faculties of core domain are not so good only few of them are there who can teach well. The curriculum provided is good but the lack of good faculties makes it difficult.
As our college lies away from the mainstream cities, so most of the placement drives are held at different colleges. The number of job offers made to our batch was very good. The only issue is very few core companies come for recruitment. This year the highest package offered was 18.75Lpa by Western Digital to 2 students of VLSI domain. The average salary offered was around 4lpa.
The course almost costed 2Lacs per year including your academics, hostel fees and mess charge. The facilities provided was fair so yes it was worth of my money.
The college campus is lush green. There are different clubs where you can engage yourselves as per your interests. The student teacher relationship is good except for few.
I won't say that the college has best of the things but yes it has each and everything that we need. All the classrooms have 24*7 surveillance. The hostels have wifi connections which helps to download any necessary stuff regarding studies.
I am doing my bachelors in computer science and engineering branch. And answer to why m doing it.... Is that I wanted to it. Yes, our curriculum is up-to-date and is revised evey year and it includes all the recent developments in the field.
We had a good amount of companies that came to hire us.... But not ample enough to hire each and everyone of them. Arount 50 to 60% were placed in good companies. Highest salary package was of 18 lakhs ( western digital) and average salary of most of the companies is around 3lpa.
It costs around 1.5 lakhs per year.
There are a lots of clubs here. Students can engage themselves in extracurricular activities.
The existing infrastructure features doesnot fit upto the mark and much more important infrastructure is required to accomplish education quality at maximum. In respect to hygiene there is always a maintain condition. Labs are needed to be more modified and materials are needed to supply in appropriate quantity to students. Wifi facility is below the average in hostels and some what good at some places in campus. and coming to the food quality is too worst condition for any person to survive.
When i joined the college faculty was gud but i must say as time passes many faculty left the college and now the new faculty with less experience standard of education level comes down. Bput syllabus is very unknowing for students, paper checking is like a bussiness to addon own account. Lab assistance is now also just for shake.
Too too too bad condition specialy for core branch students especially civil students, hardly in 4 years i found a single core company to visit our college, 2020 passout students was the first batch who got placed in civil branch in offcampus drive. Its very hard situation in future to join this college for the shake of placement, every advertisement is just for the shake of number, reality on ground is totally different for students.
Its totally worthless to spend money in this college starting from infrastructure to facilities to food to classes to exams to paper rechecking to placement there is alot more to do to bring college in a better situation. And after seeing disputes between management it seems impossible in coming 4 to 5 years.
This is only the field which i would like to give all credit to students from different backgrounds, students are the real face who make their campus life memorable in any sort of ways, there is so much of drama and politics when one things go under administration.
A huge recommendation from my side not to waste your time and money in such a place where ploitics and disputes are more than focusing on education quality and placement.

Hello Aspirant
GITA is superior to NIST in every way, not just with regard to placement. The colleges host the same hiring companies because they are almost in the same geographic vicinity and have nearly identical accreditations. However, I also consider fee structures to be important factors. And the GITA pricing schedule is reasonable.
Thanks
