Dear aspirant,

There are two types of cut offs in IIIT delhi one is with bonus and other is without bonus cut off. The bonus round counselling has lower cut offs as compared to without bonus counselling rounds. There are five cse branches with specialization course and the cut off is atleast 30k in with bonus rounds to get cse.

In nit delhi the home state cse cut off is 12k and other state cse cut off is 6.5 k.

Hello,

The GRE General Test is one of the world’s largest assessment programs for graduate admissions and the exam is conducted by Educational Testing Service (ETS).

There are two types of GRE tests, GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test.

Students seeking admission to MS courses in different fields in the US and various other countries appear for GRE General Test.

Through this test, a candidate is evaluated on his analytical writing, quantitative ability, and verbal reasoning skills.

The GRE Subject Test evaluates the candidates’ ability on a particular subject like mathematics , English literature , Physics etc.

Generally, this test is required for getting admission to specialized courses.

There is no eligibility criteria for this The graduate record examination (GRE) is a standardized exam used to measure one's aptitude for abstract thinking in the areas of analytical writing, mathematics, and vocabulary.

The GRE is commonly used by many graduate schools in the U.S. and Canada to determine an applicant's eligibility for the program

I suggest you devote between 4 and 12 weeks to GRE preparation to score good.

Take mock tests , practice model papers , etc.

Vocab is still an important part of the GRE Verbal sections. You can absorb many of the words that will show up on the GRE by reading respected publications such as academic journals etc.

Best regards!!

Hey!
To get your desired branch in NIT DElhi , you need a minimum score of 250-300 and  a rank under 3k to be on a safer side. Note that this is just an estimate on the basis of previous year data and this data can vary every year depending upon many factors like availability of seats , number of applicants etc.

Hope it helps!

Dear student,
CSAB special round as per the following eligibility norms:

Candidates who have not registered inJoSAA till now but are eligible based on JEE Main 2020 ranks, will be eligible for participating in the CSAB special rounds for NITs/IIITs/ other GFTIs (except IITs) as per JoSAA 2020 / CSAB 2020 rules.

Those who participated in JoSAA and were allotted seats will also be eligible for participating in the Special Rounds for NITs/IIITs/ other GFTIs (except IITs).

Those who participated in JoSAA but did not get any seat will also be eligible for participating in the Special Rounds for NITs/IIITs/ other GFTIs (except IITs).

Candidates who participated in JoSAA and got a seat in an IIT will also be eligible for participating in the Special Rounds for NITs/IIITs/ other GFTIs (except IITs)
So you can also participate in the special round and you will not lose your allotted Institute on doing so.

Hey!

As UP or any other obc certificate is not valid in Delhi, so you cannot submit caste certificate signed by other state. Also, if you want to claim the seat by state quota (delhi quota) then you must get the Delhi OBC certificate or if your caste comes under the central obc list then Central obc certificate is also valid.

Hope I answered your query.

Thankyou

Hello student,

Congratulations for scoring this percentile. With this percentile in sc category you have good chances of getting decent NITs. Getting NIT Delhi seems difficult as previous years cutoffs are higher.

Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.

Congratulations for securing such an amazing rank in JEE Mains, it's really not easy. Now , with your rank, and according to previous year's cutoffs, it's probable that you will easily get Computer science in NIT delhi.

Now, coming to your question, that when is the college supposed to shift to it's permanent campus, i would say that it's not really easy to say when, because that's an information that only the college authorities can provide you. The permanent campus was supposed to be built by the end of 2019, but it has been delayed, so no one really knows right now , when the work is going to be finished. You can read more about the hostel, and the college in general, here:

Hello,

it is impossible to get IIIT campus if your rank/categorical rank is not below 6k. maximum closing rank goes upto 7k-8k depending on branch options.

there is a chance for lower NIT campus if your categorical rank is below 20k-25k.

for government institutes or universities, you can surely apply. you will get top branch with reservation category. if you can use home state quota where ever applicable.

qualifying is cutoff is not known and it may not follow previous year trend as there has been many change in education process and months of delay.

to get precise college list based on you rank, please use the college predictor :- https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope it helps!

Hello there,
It's very difficult for you to get a seat in any NIT with 36k category rank. Your category rank should be within 4000 to 5000 maximum. Considering you come under the Home State Quota, you still have negligible chances of getting a seat in NIT Delhi. Don't worry, you can still get some good private colleges with this rank. You should apply for some state counseling.

You can check the cut-off ranks of all the branches in NIT Delhi in the link given below:
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-delhi

Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.

You can use our college predictor to predict the best college for you:
