Hello dear aspirant .
As this year JEE mains pattern completely changed hence it is a little difficult to predict exact stats but yes approximately 88-90 percentile will be ok in your case.
As per new trend we can simply say that in order to get this much percentile you really have to study hard and score at least 150 for it.
Ok good luck
hello aspirant,
yes you can take drop and study for jee main. but think you would have 2 years gap between 12 and starting of btech. and some companies doesnot allow 2 years gap between academic gap.
and now you are studying in btech and you need to go back to your 12 syllabus and have to study accordingly. see to get a good job from a below average college would be difficult, but there is many resources where you can get good jobs like amcat, elitmas, co cubes exam. first of all make a strong technical knowledge, then finding job will be easier for you.
You can get it sector jobs being in metallurgy department of NIT surathkal...you just need to learn coding properly..
Well i guess that you gave both exam of jee mains, paper 1 for btech and paper2 for barch. So as you are saying that you have got 45 marks in paper 1. And you have got 210 marks in paper 2. Well based on your marks, you won't get any seat in b.tech course in nit due to very poor marks, but as you are having decent marks in paper 2 , you will get a college in b.arch course in n nit.
Thank you.

Hello dear
The opening closing ranks depend upon various factors and they change according to these factors. If there is any vacancy left in the particular branch, then the closing rank will shift accordingly. As in any branch in any college which is ranked higher than NIT surathkal civil and has vacancy, and if any aspirant who is getting civil in Surathkal wishes to choose that one, he/she will get it according to the rank. And thus there will vacancy in civil. Thus the closing ranks will change. This usually happens in the last rounds, specifically 7th.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask any other queries.

Good Luck!!
Im a First Year Student at NIT Surathkal persuing Metallurgy and Materials Engineering and the infrastructure is great other than their sports complex is not so good, all of the sports facilities are cramped in one place
Classrooms and sports centres are great. Infrastructure available on need basis. Wi-Fi is great but not available at good speeds at some hostels. There is CIDS and CRF that are having many projects. There are two libraries one of which is open upto 12 midnight on normal days.
The college had a big name already and it lived by it. It provided a campus considering the comfort of the students incorporating all the necessary facilities like the labs for the science and libraries.
