At 97.978 percentile your general air will be above 30k so on that basis you don't have any chance of getting cse in nit trichy on the basis of your obc rank you also don't have any chance but nothing can be said in this matter as obc ranks can fluctuate on the number of obc candidates getting more percentile than you so it is quite sure that even on obc rank basis you will not get cse but you can wait and watch but for your info this year obc cutoff for cse was about 1.8k rank so you can move forward accordingly also you can predict your college using this link

Choosing subject wise ece at any cost but comparing the two institutions you have mentioned is very difficult nit trichy has a nirf ranking of top 10 but mnnit has nirf ranking of 42 but don't go on nirf ranking as they do not tell the true picture mnnit has the best average package among all nits in india also packages here are breaching half a crore mark and in mnnit ece the placement percentage this year is about 94% and ice placement percentage at nit trichy is about 97%(2019-20) so you can see that the competition is neck and neck so it ultimately boils down to you which you want to take but looking at the stream and other prospects mnnit is a good choice otherwise choose wisely.

Your question is not quite clear but yes I WOULDLIKE TO TELL YOU THAT branch change is not possible at all the three institutes you have mentioned so it is advised to fill preferences very carefully as a branch once allotted will be once and for all you will have no option to get your branch changed if you talk about these institutions hence whatever change in branch is possible only during the counselling process and after it he branch allotted will be final

Dear aspirant,

Let me tell you that there is as such no minimum percentile already pre defined because there are various factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty while deciding the cut offs.

But I can predict as per my knowledge but it may vary a bit due to above factors. So , a percentile of 99.3+ would be a safer score to get the electrical branch.

If cse is not your topmost priority then i will suggest go with nit trichy ice as it will always give you the brand value of a top college which will be with you all your life also if you want to practice coding then nit trichy is one the best places to do coding thanks to the great coding environment but yes companies may be a problem as some tech companies do not allow ice students to sit in their placements but yes off campus is always an option but if you want to be closer to cse then manit ece might be a good option.

All 3 are top institutions of india but the real fight of choosing is between nit trichy cse and iiit hyderabad ece if you are totally oriented towards cse then nit trichy is best go for it but if you can go with ece and want to innovate something then iiit hyderabad is good note that academic rigour is high in iiit hyderabad also placement wise nit trichy cse might be slight ahead so it depends on you and choose wisely.

Dear Aspirant,

As you have secured 67 percentile in cat 2021 and considering you belong to obc category so let me tell you that nit Trichy has been among the top 40 b schools so to crack this college you need to crack 90 percentile in cat for general category but for obc category you need atleast 85 percentile.
