Hi there.
The final cut off list will be declared by NTA after the April session of the JEE mains examination.
As for now, your probable rank can be calculated.
Now, A total of 874469 candidates wrote the exam. Since the percentile is calculated from a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees, the formula applies the total number of students in the January session which is 874469 /100 multiplied by the percentage of people who are ahead of you to arrive at the rank.
Therefore, the formula to calculate the JEE Main 2019 rank for January 2019 is
JEE Main 2019 rank (probable) = (100-96.02) X 874469 /100 = 34804(approximately)
This rank may inflate or deflate depending on the total number of candidates who write the examination. in the April session.
You could take a probable calculation and see where you stand. This means that you take a hypothetical number of the candidates who will appear in April. If you go by past trends, the figures are somewhat between 11 lakhs to 12 lakhs. Using this as a basis, use the NTA score and see which JEE Main rank you will get.
Using the same formula,
If NTA percentile score is 96.02, JEE Main rank will be (100-96.02) X 1200000/100 = 47760
Now, using this estimated calculation, you can check previous year cut off trends and think of an idea of the probable colleges.

Yes kind of Apparently most of college placement follow this, if you have 1st class career, then you'll be allowed to sit in any company that visits your campus.. if not you will be allowed in some other but not in all. So it is not a hard and fast rule on paper but it certainly helps you get an edge over others .
Some cases - higher the package ,higher the %age. Required
Hello aspirant,
Both the institutes are very good with great placements. But in my opinion you must go for cse in nit Trichy as this is the best NIT in India and is ahead of many IITs as well. The NIRF ranking of NIT Trichy is 9 and that of DTU is 36.
Average CTC of DTU is 10 lpa with 80% placement whereas that of NIT Trichy is 14 to 16 lakhs and highest being 42 lakhs with more than 90% placements every year.
But choose according to your needs, where you will be comfortable according to your native place. But, I would recommend explore the world, don't restrict yourself to your native place.
Dear candidate,
No, now you have no option left to back to the college which you have got in jossa. This is the reason why we should always try to fill the choices very carefully. However, I would advice you to please contact the jossa through Gmail and see there response if they can help.
If you go by ranking then nit trichy is best but ranking does not tell the real scene nit allahabad has best average placements among all nits and even better then some iits yes you heard that right and not one these placements in nit allahabad are slowly breaking great barriers and have crossed half a crore mark this year in CSE department but all 3 colleges you mentioned are good and it more or less depend on you which one to choose. If you are still confused you may go ahead with nit trichy if language barrier is not a problem for you
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, in Infrastructurally both the colleges are great. The curriculum in both the colleges are good. There is no much of a difference. If we compare courses, ECE is a better one than Civil Engineering. The placements rate as well as the scope of ECE is better. So going for ECE in NIT Raipur is a better choice than going to NIT Trichy for Civil Engineering.

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:
Infrastructurally both the colleges are great. The curriculum in both the colleges are good. From the point of view of Faculties there are not much of distinguish you can do. Now see from the course point of view, ECE is a better one than Civil Engineering. The placements rate as well as the scope you will get to explore in your career through this will be better than Civil Engineering. So going for ECE in NIT Raipur is a better choice than going to NIT Trichy for Civil Engineering.

Hello Madam/Sir,
JoSAA has issued guidelines for candidates who have secured seat in JoSSA round 1 to round 6 counselling regarding the reporting in the allotted institute. The candidates who have been allotted in NIT+system has to report online instead of physical reporting from November 20, 2021 to November 24, 2021 by 5 PM. So your son do not have to report physically in the allotted institute that is NIT, Tiruchirapalli. He has to report in online mode and pay the partial admission fee. it is one of the best engineering colleges in India and it truly lives up to its reputation. The campus is huge and green. The infrastructure is quite good, with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a central library that’s a paradise for book lovers and project hunters alike.
The infrastructure of college is quite good , big and well designed . The classroom is properly ventilated and has smart board for effective learning, The library has all the books of different categories and students can issue any of the books in respective time. There are many grounds for respective sports and properly maintained periodically.
It’s campus is so big that moving from one department to other requires a lot of time else you can use bicycles. The view of college is amazing. There is wifi facility along big big classrooms and labs. I don’t suggest you the mess food.
