Hello Aspirant,
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing OBC rank for NIT Tiruchirappalli was :-
Closing OBC rank for IIITDM Kancheepuram was :-
So you have no any chances to get any of NIT Tiruchirappalli or IIITDM Kancheepuram with ECE branch even if you have Home state and female quota. Also note that there is no Home state quota for IIITs.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Good Luck for your future!!
Hi,
Congratulations for your such rank. Hope you are doing great.
See, whatever you will choose, you will have to study it at least for next 4 years and you have to work on that through the rest of your life. So, I will advise you to choose according to your choice and liking on subject.
Now, if you look over other criteria, then NIT Trichy is the top NIT. But there you just get lower branch like Production. Students also take Metallurgy to be a lower branch. But due to that thought, it has been seen that now a days, there are a lot of vacancies remaining on Metallurgy in different companies. So I think it to be a great opportunity. Now, chemical, electrical and other core branches which you are getting in other NITs, are very good. Though core branches are evergreen branches, you must know that students of core branches have very poor opportunities in case of placement.
So think about all these criteria one by one. Talk to your guardians, if possible, then talk to seniors also who have studied engineering or are currently studying. And last but not the least, don't forget to think about your passion for a particular stream. Don't worry.
Hope this helps. All the best.

Hello,
I hope you are doing well, Yes you can take admission in BTech after completing BCA but it would not be worth pursuing after BCA because after BCA what you should do is MCA or MBA. As BTech is also Under Graduate Degree and once you complete BCA which is also the undergraduate degree It would be like wasting your 3 years in BCA. What you should do now is that you should prepare for NIMCET so that you can appear for MCA Entrance exam. Through this you will get admission in NIT's. If you want to pursue higher studies then rather looking for BTech you should prepare for MCA which will be Masters Degree. Although MCA is equivalent to BTech but still you will be having 2 degrees- one of Under Graduate and One of Post Graduate.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck

Dear aspirant,
I am considering this 18k rank as all india rank and not your category rank so with the help of ews category you would definitely grab a seat in nit trichy and you have good chances for instrumentation , metallurgy, chemical.
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs, and difficulty level of the paper.
I hope this answer helped you out!!

it is one of the best engineering colleges in India and it truly lives up to its reputation. The campus is huge and green. The infrastructure is quite good, with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a central library that’s a paradise for book lovers and project hunters alike.
The infrastructure of college is quite good , big and well designed . The classroom is properly ventilated and has smart board for effective learning, The library has all the books of different categories and students can issue any of the books in respective time.
