You have a chance to get NIT Trichy.

Hope it helps.

hello aspirant...

congratulation for your good jee paper 2 percentile score.

your score is good enough for getting admission for architecture and planning in nits. but for nit trichy you need to have a percentile score of 99 plus for obc category as per the last years cutoff result . but you will be able to get nit calicut and the rest other nits offering the architecture course. all you need to do is work more hard to get excellent score in next session so that you can assure your seat in nit trichy

all the best

You haven't mentioned whether you belong to Home State or Other State Category. This is important because the cut offs are different for Home State and Other State Category Students. Meanwhile, in 2019, the cut offs for CSE for NIT Trichy have been as follows:

General Category for CSE

Male Home State: 5325

Male Other State: 1373

Female Home State: 4075

Female Other State: 2371

Having said that, your rank can be predicted by using the formula, (100-your total percentile)*869010/100. In your case, your approximate rank would be 2867. Let's say the number of candidates for April exam increased to 12,00,000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 12,00,000/100. Now cut offs change every year depending on various factors.

this will give you whole detail regarding which college you will get and best for you according to the rank.

Hello,
You have not mentioned you category and state, it will be helpful if you can tell us your category and state because the cut off is different for each category, also the cut off for home state candidates and other state candidates is different. Please mention whether you the given percentile is for paper 1 or paper 2.

However, you can calculate your expected rank using the formula given below
(100-your total percentile)*869010/100
869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in JEE main January session paper 1.
(100-94.44)*869010/100=48316
So your expected rank will be around 48316.
It is expected that the number increase to 1200000 in April session. So it will become (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100

If it is paper 2 then it can be calculated using the formula given below
(100-your total percentile)*112679/100
112679 is the total number of candidates appeared in JEE main January session in paper 2.

Your reservation would not help so much . This marks won't be enough for you to get into NIT Trichy.

The last year cut off was around 15000.

So you should get around 99 percentile since this year April attempt might see more number of registrations.

Therefore you are advised to work hard to get better percentile .

You should at least get 99 percentile or more to get into NIT Trichy

hi,

see cutoff score changes year to year and it depends on various factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, students category, seat reservation etc. nits has 50 percentage seats are reserve for domicile candidates, now coming to jee main april session, its is expected that the number of participants will increase compare to jee main january session, since the nits you have mentioned is one of the top nits, you need to get 250+ score in jee main exam to get btech admission in these nits.

Hello,
Your expected rank will be around 1205.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula given below
(100-your total percentile)*112679/100
112679 is the total number of candidates appeared for JEE main paper 2 in January session.
By Calculation it is (100-98.93)*112679/100=1205

Considering 2019 cut off a candidate with rank 1668 belonging to General category and holding a domicile of Kerala secured a seat in NIT, Calicut and a candidate with rank 2468 belonging to general category and holding a domicile of Kerala seacured a seat in NIT, Tiruchirapalli.
A candidate with rank 1362 belonging to general category from other state secured a seat in NIT, Calicut and a candidate with rank 1075 belonging to General category from other state secured a seat in NIT, Tiruchirapalli.

So, you may have chances of getting a seat in NIT, Calicut and NIT, Trichy if you hold domicile of Kerala. However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

Hello!!
To calculate your JEE main paper 2 rank, you can use the formula (100-percentile scored)*1384.10
So your rank is approximately 6960.The previous year closing rank for Home state and other state quota for NIT trichy for open category 2468 and 1075 respectively. So it will difficult to get an admission. But the official admission cutoff is not out as of now.Lets hope for the best and prepare well for your April session exam.
