For taking admission in NIT trichy in top branches you must score above 99 percentile in JEE mains as there is percentile criteria because it is conducted by NTA, for having admission in in lower branches you can take admission with approx 88 percentile, this complete data is for general category student.

Cuttoff score for any particular Institute depends upon level of paper and ranking of that Institute..To get seat in NIT TRICHY you need General category rank under 8k..For such rank you need to score 170+ out of 300 score..

Mandatory Courses : B.Sc.( Computer Science, IT & Systems, Mathematics) , BCA
Candidate must pass B.Sc. in Chemistry with Mathematics as one of the subjects in B.Sc. are eligible to apply.

Candidates should possess a qualifying degree in the respective discipline or the relevant discipline from a recognized University/ College
Candidates with 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or for Gen/EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST/PwD are also eligible to apply
The candidates from Institutes with Aggregate or Honours system of evaluation must have obtained 60% or 6.5 CGPA (Gen/EWS/OBC) and 55% or 6.0 CGPA (SC/ST/PwD) as aggregate marks
Final year students can also apply on a provisional basis

Some programmes may require Mathematics as a subject during the undergraduate course of study .

As you belong to sc category you have more priority in reservation as you get less marks also you can get seat
In Nit . so if you score 120+ you can can get in seat in Nit
Which you preferred 120 + is good score and you belong to ST category you have more reservation

To join in any nits first you need to clear the jee entrance.If you get the seat in the councilling then it hardly take one and half month to join in the nit.There will be 3councilling phases.After that you can join in the nit and classes will be started from the begining.

You must have rank under 10.5k in general Category to get CSE stream in NIT TRICHY as per as previous year trends of NIT TRICHY..For such score you need to score 190+..In EWS quota you need to score rank under 500 for CSE IN NIT TRICHY...

There will be rank difference for the different courses as the all the course will not contain the same subject and knowledge .
Every courses has its own unique ranking according to the priority of the course in the society
