criteria: Aggregate Marks > 95% First 25 students irrespective of branch on the basis of JEE score in the first year.

Merit based scholarship 2-

Aggregate Marks > 90% Next 30 students irrespective of branch on the basis of JEE score in the first year.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS-III

First 10 % of admitted students (other than over and above intake) in each discipline on the basis of ranking by TIET. The students must also have more than 85% in aggregate at 10+2 level. Any fraction will be converted to next whole number e.g. if 10% of admitted students comes 11.2 then 12 scholarships will be given.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships_ normal

Gross family income ≤ 5.00 lac. Given on the basis of ascending order of income.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships_Special

To deserving cases not covered in “Merit-CumMeans Scholarships_normal” Including girls having ‘Single Girl child status. Gross family income ≤ 5.00 lac.

Hello. As per my research, Chandigarh university holds a great reputation in respect to studies, placement and ranking.

CSE has a very good future, so pursuing this stream from a very good univeristy is a very good opportunity to look on. But again, just remember what you are passionate about. Because your interest in that subject will only make you perform well and get good Mark's and then placement. So choose wisely.

The UG engineering admission in Thapar University is granted on the basis of JEE Main score. The university only take those qualifiers of JEE Main who satisfy the eligibility criteria as well. The admission is awarded on the basis of All Indian Rank. The University prepares its own merit list of the rank holders and segregate them as Punjab and Outside Punjab Candidates.

Then, as per the merit, seat intake, and number of candidates, the Cut-off Rank List is announced. The Thapar University Cut off Rank List has been released. The candidates can check it from below. It has separate columns for Punjab and Outside Punjab candidates and is given branch-wise. Check it and know the cutoff rank for Thapar University.

However the good news is that you still hold a chance to get a seat in Computer Science in Thapar University. The cut off for Computer Science & Engineering Derabassi Campus is 94.5% and you might a chance to get a seat in main campus as well as the cutoff is near by 95.6%

The Placements in this college for Electrical and Computer Engineering are pretty decent. Almost 70-80 % students get placed. The highest package offered to the students is about 40 LPA and the average package offered 11 LPA. The lowest package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, JP Morgan, Infosys, Microsoft, etc.

Thapar University 2020 Application Form is released through online mode for MBA. Candidates can now submit the application form for MBA. For UG courses students can submit the application form. The last date to submit the application form will be till 31st July 2020 for B.Tech admissions.

So among the three institutes THAPAR and VIT are private colleges where as LNMIIT is non - profit institute under the government of Rajasthan. Placements are not that great in VIT as they show but its not bad either but in comparison to LNMIIT and THAPAR  it is not so good as the other two. LNMIIT and THAPAR have almost the same top placements. If you are really into coding LNMIIT is way better and in my opinion it is good for CSE department.

The course offered by VIT, Bhopal is BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Cybernetics 4 yrs duration and Thapar Institute of engineering and technology, Patiala is BE Electronics Instrumentation and control engineering 4 yrs duration.

The fees for BTech is 7.83 Lakhs and BE is 15.05 Lakhs.

If you are more inclined towards Coding, learning programming, Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence then you can definitely choose BTech ECE at VIT, Bhopal but, if you are more interested into Engineering, Mathematics, industrial instrumentation, electronics, etc. then you should go with BE program at Thapar institute, Patiala. Both the fields are different choose according to your liking and interest.
