The Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) is an acronym that stands for Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology. It is situated in the district of Burla in the state of Odisha. The conventional 4-year B.Tech. (or 5-year B.Arch.) degree requires students to take a competitive examination, known as the JEE Mains. In order to get admission to this prominent University, students who have completed their 10+2 education may take the entrance exams and go through the counselling procedure. OJEE, on the other hand, is in charge of the admissions procedure. As a result, after your rank card is released on the JEE Main webpage, you will be able to proceed with the OJEE counselling procedure.

Following their graduation, students who want to pursue a Diploma may also apply for Lateral Entry Seats at this institution via the test that is offered by the OJEE on an annual basis. This curriculum is a three-year Bachelor's Degree Program in Business Administration.

Well based upon your rank in JEE MAINS, you may not get admission in CET, Bhubaneswar. But you can apply for Vsssut, Burla in OJEE counseling. But the chances of getting top branches like computer science engineering or mechanical engineering are low. But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling by sorting the desired branches in your preference order.

Congratulations for earning such an excellent rank in OJEE. With your rank and category you have tremendous chances of securing CSE in Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla.

The previous year cut offs for Computer Science and Engineering for GEN closed at about 50000 OJEE rank thus you have extremely high chances. Do input your preferences wisely while counselling.

See, I would suggest you to please choose your area of interest. Choosing area of interest is most important for building your career not college. If you want to go for CSE(Computer Science Engineering), go for it. Only check the placement record of the college you want to pursue CSE in.

Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla is one of the best state government colleges of Odisha. The institute provides admission to the best rank holders of the state. For every branch, there are a limited number of seats. After CET, Bhubaneswar, VSSUT Burla is the most sought after government engineering college of the state. Therefore, getting an enrollment in the institute is a pretty tough job to accomplish.

With a rank of above 2 lakhs, it is not possible for you to get admission  in VSSUT. Furthermore, you belong to the general category. If you had some other form of reservation, preferably SC or ST, you could have gained a seat in VSSUT in the preferred branch of yours.

The cutoff for ETC in VSSUT for general category students is 1,30,000. A candidate trying to secure a seat in ETC needs to secure a JEE Mains rank less than this cutoff rank.

The hostel fee for the VSSUT Sambalpur, Odisha should be around 25,000 - 40,000. This information is from the previous years, for the exact amount it is always good and suitable to contact the college admin/office as they would be the right person to contact for the same.

Based on your JEE Ranking and considering under General category. Mechanical Engineering in Round 1 is difficult but If you keep up until the last round you might have chances. Coming to VSSUT BURLA you can try for branches like Civil,EEE,IT branches. If you had any of the reservations it would have definitely made a huge difference.

As you are interested in joining VSSUT, Based on your rank and the previous year cutoff I can say that You have less chances to acquire a seat in Electrical or Mechanical. Because the closing Rank for

• Electrical >>>>>90595
• Mechanical >>>>>61049

But, If you are comfortable to go with Civil Engineering you have good chances. These are only predictions and the cutoff might change due to many factors. The previous year cutoff given are for General category.
