General Advice:
I Hope this helps.
In VIT semester exams, subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences (like Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, etc.) often involve a high proportion of problem-solving, with less emphasis on theoretical concepts. The difficulty level of these problems typically falls within the range of basic conceptual clarity and some JEE Mains-level questions, rather than being solely focused on JEE Mains difficulty.
Problem-Solving Emphasis:
Subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences often require students to apply theoretical concepts to solve practical problems.
Conceptual Clarity:
While problem-solving is crucial, a strong understanding of fundamental concepts is also essential for tackling these problems successfully.
JEE Mains Level:
Some problems might require a level of understanding and problem-solving skills comparable to JEE Mains, but the focus is generally on applying basic concepts rather than solely on advanced topics.
Specific Subjects:
Mathematics: Subjects like Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations often involve problem-solving.
Physics: Subjects like Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Electromagnetism often require students to solve numerical problems.
Engineering Sciences: Subjects like Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Strength of Materials often involve problem-solving.
Good luck!!

Hello,
Semester exams in VIT are mostly based on the class modules, lecture notes, and what professors teach in class. The questions are usually not as tough as JEE Mains. Most of the time, they are direct and based on what has been taught.
Many questions also come from previous year papers and sometimes from reference books if the professor has mentioned them. But overall, if you follow the class lectures, go through the module content, and practice from past papers, you can score well.
So, the level is moderate, not too tough, not too easy. Mostly concept-based, but not like JEE level tricky.
Hope it helps !
